Lovely food this evening! I was looking forward to our curry and wasn't dissapointed! Fresh spices evident in all dishes. Friendly chatty staff. Highly recommended! (Photo shows mix of dishes) Revisited today, standard maintained and remains highly recommended!

The food is authentic and consistently amazing. Great flavors, great portions, and very good service. The owner and server were very pleasant and wanted to genuunely ensure I was enjoying the food. Mango lassi was awesome...the put fennel seed in it, which is just the extra touch it needed. Very happy, highly recommended!

It was difficult to choose 3 or 4, because the food is really good and the service is good. I have meerkat meals which should be on starter, main course and desert. I was only offered the discount on the main. They charged almost £6 for a bottle of sparkling water, and when I got the bill there was a spurious £4, which when questioned, was a service charge. This is what I call trying to get double tips, as I was about to leave a £5 tip, which is what the table next to us did. A meal for 2 that we thought would be good value ended up as nearly £50!

I will not come back here anymore, the owner on the bill I can just say that he robbed us! I had 3 people for dinner there! I used a taste card 2 in 1, i.e. we pay for 1 meal and we have 2, the bill is written on a piece of paper by hand! £ 90 I notified him that we had a taste discount, he lowered the price by £ 8 upon reflection! after returning home I used the just eat application, ordering the same things as £ 61 without a taste card !!! I do not recommend this place! food even good but owner cheat

The owner and staff are pleasant enough. The restaurant is nice and also clean. The thing is you may not get what you ordered. I like a hot curry. I asked for a vindaloo but I got an average curry. It tasted alright but wasn't what I wanted. The owner told me it was the chefs fault. He was new and put in the wrong ingredients. Also there is a fondest of putting coconut in virtually everything, so be warned.

The staff were constantly hanging around to make sure that everything is ok, asking you every few minutes, which was very annoying when you're trying to have this nice meal together. However the food was tasty and apart from the constant interruptions the service was good however I would say the meat was very tough like it had been cooked that day and then reheated that evening.

Great restaurant, fantastic food , excellent service and very friendly. My elderly parents have been concerned about eating out since the pandemic however, they were very pleasantly surprised by the social distancing at Godalming Tandoori and were equally impressed by the extensive menu and great tasting food. We will be back :-)

Do not waste your time going here. We have been to many curry restaurants and this is without doubt THE WORST BY FAR in terms of; the food was awful, the atmosphere was non-existent, it was cold and the customer service (if you can call it that) was the worst I have ever experienced. Oh and my partner received mild food poisoning from this meal as well, luckily she didn’t eat much of the chicken or it would have been bad. Waiter also tried to overcharge drinks and lied. Abysmal customer service.

Got lamb chops to start with tasted ok but were tiny for £6…. Curry was ok but not much meat, naan bread was small, mushroom-rice was full of onions for some reason good job I like onions I asked for some mint sauce with my starter and they brought me a pickle tray and probably would of charged me for it if I hadn’t have said no. They charged 10% service charge without asking that’s why they didn’t have to be nice to you….my recommendation is find another Indian restaurant
