I ordered the Salmon Benedict, and my partner ordered the classic breakfast. I'd never had a Benedict before, but this was one of my favorite and most tasty breakfasts I've ever had, hands down. The flavors all paired so well together I nearly happy cried.
The only thing I would've changed would've been to exchange the English muffins it comes with for their soft, buttery biscuits (some of the best biscuits I've ever had, too).
The atmosphere didn't feel like it was anything special, but I enjoy that they have so many windows for natural light to come in.

Ginger Sues is known as one of the top spots to visit for breakfast, brunch, or lunch (whichever you prefer) in Lee's Summit. You can also find Ginger Sue's at a few other spots located in the Greater KC area! From fluffy pancakes, to steamy lattes (including seasonal flavors), to mouthwatering peppered bacon, and more...you cannot go wrong with any option ordered at Ginger Sue's. The scramble bowls are packed with fresh ingredients that will have you leaving the restaurant stuffed. I ordered the Gravy Scramble, which has tasty potatoes and three scrambled eggs stacked with sausage, ham, mushrooms, and cheddar-jack cheese topped with peppered sausage gravy...YUM! We also ordered the super stuffed breakfast burrito that is served with a side of breakfast potatoes. To finish the meal, we shared a blueberry pancake with syrup. This spot is absolutely delicious and worth the wait (if you have one).Add this breakfast spot to your KC bucket list!

If you're into trendy brunches, this is your spot. My only gripe is lack of flavored creamers. The building is clean and service was prompt. The food has a unique twist that is interesting for adults and super fun for kids (for example, the French toast in my photo). Definitely worth a visit!

Decided to stop in for breakfast before seeing a matinee. The service was very good. The food wasn't bad. I'd visit again, just wish there were a few more options that looked good to me; but that's me.

The princess and I met my Aunt and cousin here for breakfast today. Bezza we got an early start, about 9am, we did not have to wait for a table. By the time we left just after 10 they were getting busy but still had a few tables available. The food was excellent and served fast and hot. Although this was our first visit to Ginger Sue's, our waitress Mallory, was quite welcoming and made us feel like regulars. Only about 20 minutes from Waldo we are sure to return to this great little restaurant that is hiding in plain sight in Lees Summit!

Visited this place for our annual Christmas shopping day with our mother and 5 of her daughters. Super disappointed. The food was bad. Cold, overdone, hollandaise was completely broken, bacon was so burnt, and coffee was cold. What really sealed the poor review was the server. She was unpleasant immediately, was extremely inconvenienced by anything asked, and overall just read as annoyed to serve us. When my 83 year old mom asked for her coffee heated up because it was cold and she was met with tolerance, we all considered just leaving. Would not return to this location but have had good experiences in Liberty.

I am giving it 4 start for the excelente service Anne provide to us.
Food: thanks to Anne I got what I want avo and toast the problem is the toast were full covered in oil/ butter so not really pleasant.
Pancake: again another brillant service for Anne that brought to us separe got cheese as you barely could taste it in the pancake.
My big disappointment was the moka, seriously is not even a real coffee at all even tho I asked for the espresso shot.
Overall it is an Ok brekky place I feel is more enjoyable for Americans and I apologize for not being from here but I did not enjoyed much of it. Despite all my husband did like it so I am assuming is because the different taste in palatal.

Man o man! The French Toast were large enough to appear as though they were Trout and looked like them. The raspberry syrup was fabulous. The waitress was on top of it! I asked for additional cream, and i had not realized she had already placed it on the table. I ordered the sugar-free chocolate coffee. WOW! Do I need to say more?

The farmer's omelette was so delicious. The restaurant was clean and bright and our server was very sweet. My drink was filled before it was empty and food came out quickly!
Would definitely come back again.

We arrived on Sunday about 11:45am because there was an hour wait at The Shack. It was unremarkable.
Service and seating was good, very simple and clean environment.
Menu was pretty simple, a few interesting options. Plain coffee $2.75?
Breakfast burrito had lots of interesting ingredients but was rather bland, fried potatoes on the side were good.
Eggs Benedict was average, good portion size.
Overall 3.5
