Fresh Baguette has the friendliest host/bakery named Francois. He is very knowledgeable in breads/pastries and shows pride in his craft. Their coffees are delicious, as are the hot teas. Their croissants are devine. I've had their butter croissants, almond croissants, and chocolate croissants, all delicious and French authentic! Their small bakery has a seating area. In addition you will find a corner store front with a select option of European cookies, jams, other items. This bakery is well worth the drive to Mclean. We stopped by after work to grab some chocolate croissants for breakfast the next few days. The place was very clean and the staff was friendly. They have sandwiches, quiches, pastries, and bread available. The croissants came right out of the fridge so when we got home we put them in the oven for a few minutes and they tasted good. There is a nice outdoor patio to enjoy as well.

The croissants are great but the new hours are horrible. The hour change has made it nearly impossible to come here. The specialty holiday items like pies and cakes are terrible and very much over priced do not get them. Particularly the apple pie in November, worst I have ever had and cost $48. The cakes at Christmas were also particularly bad. But the croissants are the absolute best in town. The baguettes are also very good. This location is also not nearly as good as the one in Alexandria. Food: 4 Service: 1
Fresh French baguette, croissant and quiche at 7AM. What more could you ask for.  It was on the pricey side but fully worth it considering the quality of materials and excellent preparation, making it a memorable experience. Friendly staff and well decorated interior, a most welcome additional to the neighborhood.

The breakfast sandwich was delicious, however the customer experience is lacking. You will find yourself hunting for napkins that are non existent at the tables and customer wait times are excessive.
