Este restaurante es conocido por su carne. Llegamos con un retraso de 15 minutos, y al momento te llaman por teléfono por si acaso no vienes... El establecimiento es pequeño y bastante ruidoso. Ofrecen varios platos de carne, el pollo es el más barato 22 euros el resto mucho más elevado. También ofrecen pasta .. una botella rosado 41 euros. La carne está bien hecha, pero no es nada especial. Éramos seis personas y hemos pagado algo más de 300 euros. I was just back home after eating here, and I loved it. The starters were hard to choose from because they all looked good. I had the U.S.A. ribs that had a good amount of meat on them. The steak and shrimp I couldn't get enough of. The steak was definitely the best steak in Nijmegen, and there's plenty of places that make great steaks here. The shrimps were very tasty and perfectly cooked. Death by chocolate was my dessert, and I'm slipping slowly into a sleep coma as we speak. Some of the prices might be on the high end compared to other places in Nijmegen, but here you definitely get what you pay for. I almost forgot to mention the lovely staff, very enthusiastic and professional. We will come here again in the future. Gets 5 points for coziness, and extremely great service. The staff was really excellent and tried to engage and even make jokes with my 7 year old son. Food is mediocre, nothing stands out really. The owner is however rude imo. We had booked about 17:30, arrived on time, it was cold already and he placed us next to the entrance. I asked if we could get another table inside as it was barely occupied, he refused. I gave my son my jacket to keep extra warm. He wanted to come over to me to show me something, so i pulled his chair next to me, the owner came very fast and said that is not allowed as he may block some, but there wasn't anyone in the table next to us. Half an hour later 2 guest came and sat next to us, my son was still walking to me to show me something, he would immediately dart to us to say it is not allowed, but the other guests politely told him that they didn't mind. I would say, learn from your staff to be polite to ALL your guests.

It was okay... I had tuna steak, it was not fresh and lack some flavor. The apetizer was good and desert was just fine. Nothing espectacular for the price you pay. We were expecting much more flavors and a better experience. It is just okay.

Had an amazing meal in Frank's, the staff were fantastic and the food was even better, the atmosphere in Frank's is wonderful and relaxing. I had the pork belly to start which was amazing my girlfriend had the mushrooms (the secret sauce is outstanding) and we both had the wagyu steak (probably the best beef I've ever eaten) all round wonderful experience and would highly recommend to one and all.

If I could give it a sixth star, I would. I'm genuinely impressed by the perfection of this small restaurant. Not just when it comes to delicious food, for all three courses. It's also a lovely cosy atmosphere with cute, romantic decorations and classy furniture. The staff is friendly as well as professional. The chef knows what he's doing in terms of both flavour and presentation of the food. The dishes are served with excellent pauses when necessary and the waiters ask exactly at the right time to refill your drink. The menu has plenty choice for everyone but the steaks are definitely flawless. Can also highly recommend the cheesecake, of which you can really tell it is fresh and homemade. This is the most positive review I've ever written and they deserve it!

Very nice restaurant. Don't be fooled by the uninviting appearance outside. Once inside the decoration is quite stylish. Main dishes are a bit pricey but definitely worth it. We tried the pork schnitzel and the cordon bleu and paid around 25 Euro per person including. Cola or beer.
