Good spot for fried seafood. I came here with coworkers earlier in the week for the first time, I had been wanting to try it for awhile being new to the area. I ordered the pick two combo- popcorn shrimp and fried clams with a cup of seafood gumbo and mac and cheese. The shrimp and clams were great, mac and cheese was okay, nothing spectacular. But I appreciated the variety of sauces available- tartar, cocktail, hot sauce, ketchup.
A little surprised they didn't offer tap water, said we would have to buy a bottle, so I just got my water bottle from the car.
Service was friendly but a bit slow, it took over 20 mins for us to get our food after ordering and it didn't seem too crowded/busy at the time. A bit pricey for lunch, but it is seafood. Overall, I'd recommend going if you're craving some fried goodness.

Whole Fried NC Flounder 1
This was my 1st time ordering from this location. The online order process was smooth and effortless. The order was ready at the time specified. Clean and inviting. Hot, fresh, and well seasoned, the portions are worth the price. I spend more than 100 dollars for a meal for my family, and it is well worth it. The food here is incredibly good. Seasoned so perfectly. Everything from the flounder to the oysters to the shrimp, is so delicious. As well as the sides, some of the best collard greens I have ever had. Really good desserts too that they make in house, we tried the strawberry shortcake and the banana pudding. Great hardworking people here that will cook you an awesome seafood meal. Will definitely be back!

I used to pick up here often. Chante (sorry if I misspelled your name) and majority of the other workers that were here made you wanna come here. It felt so nice and welcoming and I loved coming here. My last 3 visits the OWNER has been extremely rude to me for whatever reason she has. I ignored it the fist two times assuming that she was having a bad day I know how restaurants can he but its no way she’s suddenly having a bad day every time I walk in. And yes, it is the owner, older lady. Maybe you should take after your employees and be a little nicer. When my order got ready she packed it sat it to the side and made me wait even longer and attended to someone else that walked in. Now she’s on the phone while bagging the order I’m waiting for acting like she doesn’t see me waiting. I had to get up and ask for the order after waiting and it being ready. Doesn’t make sense.

I just went here to pick up some fish. The guys at the counter that picked, cut, and packed them were really helpful because I had no idea what I was doing. They made some recommendations based on how I was planning to cook it and, so far I’ve only cooked the bass but it was delicious. The folks there were also super friendly (Shoutout to Darius)! Highly recommend this place

Well seasoned fresh seafood dishes as good as our favorite hometown spots in New Orleans. If you didn’t think we could do seafood right in Winston-Salem, Forsyth Seafood will prove you wrong.
Don’t forget to try the broiled options which are super flavorful and delicious.

I see why Forsyth Seafood was voted best Seafood in 2020. Hands down the best seafood in the area. Everything made fresh to order. Staff were friendly and made great suggestions on popular items. Fried Snapper hush puppies and Jumbo Shrimp were amazing! Forsyth has two sides a dinning side and Fresh Seafood market. Mobile ordering and EBT are available.

All I can say is that the seafood tasted great! We are not from Winston Salem, but saw this place and stopped in. Everyone was very helpful letting us know what was available, and how it could be cooked (we got our fish broiled). Service was polite and our food came out tasting great.
Definitely recommend if you want seafood and you're in the area!

Food was the best seafood I had in Winston so far…The flounder was good ..That Mac and Collard Greens was on point and the coleslaw was fresh and made was scratch ..Whoever is cooking keep on cooking because I’ll be back this week for another plate 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥..I didn’t get my hush puppies but the coworker that answer the phone had great customer skills and made sure she take my name so when I come back threw I get my hush puppies…My manager was right it was about the place of business… Nothing like good quality food …
