Fat Ernie's Family Dining in Wichita is a great place to go for home-style cooking. The portions are huge and the prices are incredibly affordable. The daily specials, like chicken alfredo and "Yardbird", are all you can eat, making it a great value. The staff is friendly and accommodating, even going so far as to cook chicken wings at 6:15AM for a customer. The homemade pies are also delicious and highly recommended. With great food and friendly service, Fat Ernie's is definitely worth a visit.

Old school dinner experience 100%, parking was a bit rough, but I did get there a peak lunch rush. The food was great I need to go back during the week while they have there all you can eat specials going on! The pies were fantastic! I had the chocolate and they have many more I want to try. The staff was great, and everyone was super friendly. Food didn't take long to come out. I had enough time to enjoy the salad. I would have gotten an appetizer, but other dinners talked me out of it since the main course was going to be fairly big. They were right lol.
