Good to know: This is not a classic bakery with glass showcases but more of a production facility.
I spontaneously went by today after finding them here on google maps and was a bit confused by the concrete front at first. When I brought up the courage to use the doorbell however, I was greeted very warmly and everything was explained to me.
I was able to spontaneously purchase a bunch of different croissants (nougat-creme and marzipan filled fresh from the oven and some 'baklava-croissants' from the freezer) which were A+, extremely delicious!!!
Normally, they said, it's better to preorder online some days before so you can be sure they have everything available that you're looking for when you get here:)

Seriously the best vegan pastries The Netherlands has to offer. Look up where they sell their goodies (The Hague, Leiden, Rotterdam) and don’t look further! Can recommend the almond croissant! 10/10. Plus the owners are super nice. You will come back for more.

I first sampled their pastries and crossaints at the Rotterdamse Oogst markt on a Saturday, and went a tiny bit overboard in buying from them :). The goodies are really well-made and delicious, them being vegan is an extra bonus :) I also like that Epicurieus comes out with themed pastries (e.g., the Frida cake for Women's day) and are expanding the selection of vegan treats so you're not limited to just one or two items.
You can see how passionate (and skilled!) they are in baking these treats, and it shows in the quality and overall service. I hope they continue to grow so that their goodies are available in more cafes and restaurants!

Epicurieus makes the downright best vegan croissants! So tasty and crispy. Also their Mergenpijp is out of this world. Also perfect customer service. I can only highly recommended Epicurieus to anyone. You are in for a treat!

I got in touch with Epicurieus bakery to order a gift card for my sister who lives in The Hague. I am in the USA but the transatlantic communication with Morgane from Epicurieus was wonderful - Morgane was helpful, quick and just really friendly. I cannot wait to visit them in person!
