Some of the best authentic Mexican food in CDA. The tacos, burritos and nachos have been exceptional EVERY time! The taco bar is beautiful and clean, plus they have beer. One of my favorite spots. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20
This place was terrible!!! Definitely not what you expect when your told they do street tacos. Yes they have a salsa bar but seriously they give you the tortilla and meat and nothing else. The meat was dry very little meat if you have ever had street tacos before. When I went to go to the salsa bar the lids didn’t even fit the containers so it’s not like we could even take salsa home. The free beans they have are definitely not sanitary. And it’s not even true street style rice and beans. The kids cheese quesadilla had so much cheese on it it was disgusting!!! And grilled veggies not sure what was up with that as I have never heard of grilled veggies on street tacos!!! The nachos well, they were basically movie theater nachos and nothing more. I was so excited to give this place a try and was truly disappointed. The only good thing about this place was the lady was nice. Safe to say save your money and do not go here!!!!

Fitting that the word Loco is in the name of this Mexican "restaurant" because I'd have to be crazy to ever go back. First time trying this place and it was a terrible disappointment. They either don't know how to, or are too lazy to roll a burrito that remains intact. Got a carne asada torta that absolutely sucked with almost no carne asada on it, almost no mayo, and 2 small pieces of avacado on it and was cold. Got a pork belly burrito that was cold and tasted nothing like pork belly and also cold. Their "guacamole" is watered down, bland and gross. If I could give it no stars that would be more than deserved. I included a tip when paying for my "food" but I'll go ahead and give a tip to anyone wanting to try this place - DON'T. Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 1
Love mexian food but was extremly disappointed with Taqueria El Taco Loca. Overpriced, too much cheese not fully melted, bland. Four of us ate and none of us finished our meal. Positive: The salsa bar was super cool and the customer service was good. Negative: product received, flavors, and overall cleanliness. Will not be returning! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $30–50
The carni asada fries are crazy good. The food was fast and tasty. It's our first visit but definitely not our last. The salsa bar is top notch. Even the guac is free.
Came here specifically for quesabirria tacos because they're the only place in the CDA area that serves them, and I'll be damned if they're not the best quesabirria tacos I've ever had. Amazing that we have a place this delicious in little old North Idaho. Also, the authenticity on the menu is unbelievable. They have everything from lengua to pork belly and tripa and everything in-between. Killer, killer restaurant and it's probably become my normal taco spot. Service Take out Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20

Food was really delicious, staff was very friendly. Tacos are about $2.50 - $2.75 and you get meat that's not in any other Mexican restaurant around here. You can add the toppings you want, tacos come with sauteed onion and jalapeno. Burritos look to be almost the size of the paper plates they're served on.Great for family, they have three tv's and plenty of seating for what looks like a small place.

I highly recommend this restaurant! The food is filling, flavorful, fresh, and fast. The service was great and they were extremely nice. The restaurant was extremely clean. They have the standard fountain drink, but offer a variety of other bottled beverages that are authentic and delicious. Don’t past up this place!
i first saw the sign go up like a year and a half ago and I got super excited! i moved here from Walla Walla and el taco loco is the name of my favorite taco truck there (sadly not the same family). and was thrilled they finally opened. first thing I did was check out the menu online. I don't know how there are reviews on here from over a month ago when today is their 3rd day open, but whatever. i got the chicken burrito. this has grilled chicken and rancho beans, plus all the other goodies. absolutely delicious. huge and well stuffed. the red sauce has a nice kick to it. the green sauce is much milder and I thought tasted better. the burrito also had a roasted jalapeno and onion on the side. very nice touch! she got the chicken quesadilla. she thought her's was a little bland but it was literally just chicken and cheese on a bed of shredded lettuce, also with the side pepper and onion. i thought the chicken had great flavor. price point was a little higher than say Ricardo's on PF or Las Brasas. we didn't get anything else and it came to just over $20. totally worth it. for only being open 3 days i was very impressed and i am excited to try more of the menu. the al pastor was on a legit skewer rack. my eyes almost got a little dusty it was so beautiful. i am totally going to smash some of that next time. everyone there was incredibly friendly and smiling and got us out quickly.
