My husband had carne asada and had to pull fat off the meat. My son and I had fajitas. I asked for vegetarian and to add pineapple. The pineapple wasn’t added. They were tasty though. My son had the combo fajitas and also said they were good. My daughter in law had the street tacos and didn’t care for them. Service was ok, nice but on the slow side. Had to ask for ask for more salsa a couple of times before it was brought and had to ask for drink refills. Pricey as well. The parking lot is close. For starters, the salsa is so far the best I've tasted in the metro. The chips came out nice and warm and tasted fresh. The drinks are a nice size. I ordered chicken street tacos and they did not disappoint. I had black beans and rice with it and they were also very tasty. The only strange thing I noticed about the place is the booths looked like they used to be at la fuene. I found it comical. One interesting item is the ability to get a gallon of margarita for $55. I will absolutely be going back. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Salsa and Chips

Absolutely amazing experience! Friends recommended we try El Sazon. We were far from disappointed. The food was fantastic - both the appetizer and both of our entrees. The server could not have been nicer. He was attentive, friendly, and helpful. Even with the other tables he had he never rushed us. I had been looking for another Mexican restaurant to go to…Google sent me here and it didn’t disappoint. Salsa is everything to me and it didn’t disappoint either. I ordered chicken fried tacos. So I need to say it again? Check it out and see what you think!! And I had salsa to go!! Couldn’t leave without that Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
First time here with the family, and we were blown away! Our server recommended their new spicy mango margarita and it was so so good! We also tried out the molcajete dish, and apart from it being absolutely delicious, the portion was great for the price! If you’re looking for a Mexican Restaurant with great quality food, and attentive service, then this is it! I live on the US/Mexico border in Texas where authentic Mexican food is plentiful. What a delightful surprise to see such authenticity here. Very reasonable prices. Excellent lunch specials. Varied selection. The opener chips and salsa were both quite good. The chips were light and airy. The salsa was fresh and delicious. They open at 11 a.m., not 11:30 a.m. as widely reported online. Food was not bad but we didn't see our server again after we got our food. Our kid began to get restless, so I had to take her to the car while my wife tried to track down someone to pay. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
If I lived anywhere near this restaurant I would be a regular customer. My taco salad fajita was perfect, so perfect I woofed it down like a little piggy. All I had left to photograph was the empty shell. Sorry folks. The chips & salsa almost brought tears to my eyes. Pureed salsa is my absolute favorite, as opposed to chunky salsa. I left the restaurant completely satisfied. This type of food generally gives me heartburn so I set out the tums and waited for the discomfort to set in. Much to my surprise, I did not have any heartburn. That was the clincher for giving this restaurant 5 stars. NOTE - The menu did have hot, spicy options and vegetarian choices.
