This is everything I want: flavorful Mexican food, beautiful and vivacious cantina, and large portions! I had the the pastor burrito with green sauce; it was rich and tangy, with enough spice to loosen the sinuses, but not enough to cause actual fire in your mouth ( or other places). The pork itself was crispy yet juicy. This sucker was big enough for two meals for me... It was huge! Can't wait to go back. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Their tamales and red and green sauce are AMAZING! So so delicious. We ordered a big batch of pork tamales around Christmas time and they were so moist, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. We ate tamales for every meal one day because we couldn't get enough. :) my husband gets lunch here often (likely tacos) and loves them so I’ll be trying more items off their menu now too. The food is pretty consistent and decent except for fatty meat sometimes and stale chips. I wish the service matched the food. If you don't mind getting bad service, then go ahead and come here for some good tacos. I couldn't really understand what the guy was yelling when my order was ready and I guess it was my order so it took me about 15-20 seconds to get up and go get my food and he yelled Jesus Christ really loud. It was super embarrassing and inappropriate. The cashier taking the order is not very kind, doesn't say thank you for a tip, acts like they're doing you a favor by taking your order. Instead of the opposite way. Treat your customers a little nicer. People only come here because there's a lack of decent Mexican food in the area. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

Great food, very authentic. The staff and atmosphere was great. I would definitely go back next time I’m in Coeur D’Alene. They also have a highchair for the niños

I ordered 3 shredded beef flautas 🤩 Perfectly fried, puffy tortillas with a absolute-ton of meat. I left very full and happy! Incredible food and people, eating here helped turn around a bad day on my end.

The food was the best part of the whole experience. The service is meh, they seem not so friendly, I’ve gone twice before sharing my experience as I wanted to be sure they weren’t having an off day. I’m from Texas so I was happy to find a good place that has decent Mexican food. It was weird that the only give you one small tortilla chip bowel per order. My Hispanic girlfriend says that this is "Excellent, original Mexican food"! They have great prices for an awesome amount of food as well. Appears family run. They are very friendly and happy to serve your foody needs. Super easy access to and from I-90, and within the city. Go there! Phenomenal food at a reasonable price! The service was excellent, and everything tastes very fresh. Truly a gem of a small business, with owners who take pride in their business and their family.
