The servers were so lovely and we had a great time at the restaurant. The fish and steak were both really good. Five stars for the homely atmosphere and the sweet hosts.

OK, this isn't a fancy pantsy place on a live Avenue somewhere with all the bells and whistles. What this place is, is a homey, family run, non-descript and WONDERFUL little restaurant off the path in Ponce. Daisy, the owner, is so sweet. She greets you as you enter, and you can already tell this is one of those neighborhood spots where the staff is friendly and the food is on point. Don't be thrown off by its simplicity, it's a really good authentic puerto rican spot with the best bistec empanizado I've ever eaten... and I'm from the Bronx. A must stop if you're in Ponce.

Earlier in the week. Service was great. Especially Ronald. The last couple of days I’d swear I was invisible at the bar as bartender after bartender walked by without even acknowledging my existence. Maybe they just have less qualified servers in the middle of the week. Not sure what the difference is. Possibly the whole 8 people at the bar was too much for the 3 bartenders to handle.

This place is great, I highly recommend it. Amazing food and very tasty Delicious rice and beans. Mofongo a little hard but good. I ordered a house dish that was potato mofongo and had pork and bacon around it with bbq sauce.. If you expect to have natural juice, don't order it, first place I ordered orange juice And they gave me a juice box .. disappointed with that, the place is very cold and dark, it should have a little light on, but otherwise, I recommend
Awesome food, great portions prices regular definitely recommend coming here if you are in ponce, food is fresh and delicious!!!

Gave the one star because there were NO ZERO STARS.
First let me say that this little place is very dull looking and hot. 2nd they advise for you to sit anywhere you’d like but then tell you to move to another table once you sit down.
The workers are not attentive nor offer you water.
Let’s talk about the food, the appetizer alcapurrias were good, the queso frito were not crunchy but ok with guava sauce.
We ordered white rice and beans with steak and onions, it was passable but nothing to rave about, and the beans were salty.
They charged way more than the prices on the menu. And 3 types of tax charges on top of that.
Do I recommend this place? NOT AT ALL!!!! please spend your money else where.. this place is horrible all in all.
This place it's a heaven, the food's awesome and the attention to the customers over the top, prices are affordable, the parking isn't to big, but there's plenty of empty spaces around to safelly leave your car. On weekdays usually you eat at the street level floor, but on weekends a second floor its open .

Great family owned puertorican restaurant. Service is outstanding, friendly staff and delicious food! Affordable prices and good portions. The variety is excellent! Surullitos and alcapurrias are amazing.. Don't forget to ask for their homemade "pique" (hot sauce)!
