Dirty, no table service, unstable and too small tables. The table with the dirty glasses on the table next to us, as shown in the image below, was not cleaned up for our 45min stay. Do not expect anyone to come to your table to ask for your order. From the expensive price point, table service should be expected by my standards. Food was decent, and there is a place for your kids to play.

A spontaneous family meal with children after a day out. One of the best Egon’s I’ve been to. Clean, good service, and good food. I had a nice fish, carrots a little undercooked but the sauce was lovely. Drinks were good too. Toilets were very clean.

A cozy place for a meal with the family. Great customer service, with polite and smiling emplyoees. Tried the Egon Burger. Tasty and juicy burger. A bit expensive to eat here. Annoying thumping bass from the speakers.

Have been in Fredrikstad for 3 weeks with work. Have eaten here 4 times. Place has looked quite empty most times I've been but this is no reflection on the food. The menu has plenty of choice. I've had pasta dishes twice, a burger and tacos. All were very good. Service is also quick whichis ideal when you are dining on your own.

The food was decent at best. Overpriced, no service (you go to order at the bar even at almost $30/burger) and the menu we checked online had expired over a week before our visit. Shame as I was really looking forward to pinnekjøtt.

Food was OK. You have to purchase at the bar and then they serve to your table. There is a small children’s play area within the restaurant which is always handy to entertain hungry children while waiting for the food!
