I have been to this restarent with several groups several times in the past. All those times the food was really good. Being said that the last visit was not as good as the previous ones. There were 6 of us and after the drinks were ordered only 5 of us got it, one of us has to wait for long and then remember them to get the drink. When the ordered food came in, it was more confusion. The service was bad in the sense that the ordered ones were not delivered to the right person, there was a couple of switcherros which was not really a pleasent experience. Halve Maan is a nice place. Food is tasty. The interior decoration is interesting. It is an oasis in this area of New Rijswijk. I feel like being in an old English pub. I have tried several dishes. Saté with pork is one of my favourites. There is also good selection of beers. For those who want to avoid alcohol, there are also 0% beers. Nice spot that was close to our hotel. We stopped in for the all you can eat spare ribs and we were not disappointed. I’m not sure if the ribs we oven or fire cooked (though they definitely looked fire cooked), but they were definitely well cooked and extremely tender. There were four possible sauces: bbq, sweet, spicy, and piri piri. You can choose a different sauce each round which gives you the opportunity to try each of them. We tried all except the piri piri. Each was good. The service was great and the staff was very friendly. The was plenty of outdoor seating, though we chose to sit inside. The decor was fine - not fancy but nice. The bathroom was very clean. We would definitely eat there again.

Lovely place to eat big portion Sat and Sun rib steak portion is unlimited you can eat much as you want. Desert was absolutely 💯 amazing and massive portion again. Perfect bar to visit for an afterwork drink, the staff is really nice and there are also dart boards for guest to play. Snacks and food there are also good. The location is wonderful, it is right across from the rijswijk train station.

I admit we were with a large group and that always has an impact on the service. So many people to attend and cater to is difficult. So we got a bit cramped with the group in the room and it took a while to get everyone dinner. Overall my dish was ok and that was a mutual feeling in the group. Not bad, but could be better. Then again with a smaller group this could be a great place. So shoot your shot and give it a try. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

In our country(somewhere in asia), we can't eat the same quality steaks at the same price as here. Their burgurs are also good. I highly recommend it.
