Big breakfast and cinnamon rolls are to die for! 😋 my only regret is that we are not local, so this isn't going to be a regular stop. If you're downtown, you need to be here. There are so many offerings that every appetite can be satisfied. My coffee/late were good as well it's just the highlight needed to be on the bagel and rolls.

Food (bagels) are good. Timeliness could be better with more than one employee in the morning when the train is about to board and there's a line of passengers. Also the chick that made my order, apparently, didn't like my answer of, "no that's it" when she asked if I wanted anything else. Should I have ordered a dozen bagels or something? Sorry one bagel is too cheap for her. Obviously no tip given. I have hearing loss (wear hearing aids) so I didn't hear her but the employee said something rude after my innocent comment. Had I heard it I would have talked to her right then but I wasn't told until the moment had passed. This city wants to act like they're all about love and peace with a heavy left vibe unless the person speak bluntly and plainly and doesn't sit on either side of the political fence. I dont care one ounce about left or right. I speak bluntly as to not be misunderstood. Be a better human and think logically, not emotionally, for once. Let's see if they'll skip replying since most places that don't care about customer service, it seems, skip replying to negative reviews.
Delicious bagels with great options for schmear! I also really enjoyed their rugelach. I would definitely aim to go there again when I'm in town.

Veggie Bagel
Bagels were maybe the best I've ever had. So chewy and light. Only had raspberry cream cheese and not strawberry so I got plain but it was good on the parmasan bagel. The cinnamon roll was also amazing. I had it room temp (by request) but it warm would have been great too. Service however was very poor. The lone younger female working was almost rude this morning and still had the audacity to ask me to sign the receipt with a tip line. 😒 But, despite the poor service I would most definitely recommend coming here.

Green Chilli
Sign says freshly baked bagels, however everything else is microwaved in front of the customers, $9 for a microwaved egg and meat option they should be ashamed of themselves cooking food in a microwave then charging people money for it. Overhyped, 2 stars.
I absolutely LOVE Durango Bagel! This is the best bakery I’ve ever been to. They have the best freshly baked bagels, and my favorite, the coconut latte. Such a great atmosphere, everyone is so friendly and makes breakfast time so much better! Every year my family drives to Durango and stopping here is #1 on our list before anything else. If you’re visiting Durango you HAVE to stop here, this place will not disappoint!!!!
This place is absolutely rude. Definitely not for people who don't know the area. Maybe if you like being spoken to like you have no sense then this may be the place for you but if you have a service dog this is not. They were yelling at us to take my service dog outside they don't have to be that way it's a small shop so I can understand for her being outside but also you have no signs saying no dogs period, you have pictures on Google of dogs at your window ? This place needs better communication especially with customers. Definitely not worth coming back.
Great hidden bakery right next to the train station. Perfect place to start your morning and watch the trains. Employees were very friendly and service was quick. They have locally roasted coffee and fresh bagels made daily. Slack lunch’s available for those on the run. Highly recommend the big breakfast option on a jalapeño cheddar bagel. Can’t wait to try something new next time.
My go-to is a salt bagel with lox spread and this place nails it. Bagel itself was perfect. Friendly service. Definitely worth a stop when in Durango. I WILL be back!
