Stopped by for drinks with a friend while in town for the week. This is a really nice establishment located in the heart of downtown. Enjoyed the drinks and the space. Here are my takeaways:
Environment
Located in the heart of Innovation Quarter this space is huge. Great for large parties or if you just want to catch up with friends or a partner. It has a modern vibe, low lit casual and laid back quality to it. The space has an industrial feel to it - high ceilings, a section with a sofa and chairs in the back for a more lounge feel and a huge bar with plenty of seating.
Service
The bar staff was amazing and made sure we had everything we needed. They were knowledgeable of the drinks and the menu and made great suggestions. They were also very welcoming.
Drinks
There are so many options to choose from and explore it can be overwhelming and it's also great to come back often to try many of their selections. Very impressive. The drinks we had were great and well prepared. I would definitely come back to explore their menu and try some of their creative cocktails.
Overall
Wonderful space for large parties or if you just want to stop by for a good to great drink. Really great chill vibe which I love. Will definitely be back for more.

It was a very nice place to come for a couple of drinks. Clean and great even the restroms were very fancy and I always enjoy of a place where you go for some drinka and when you go to the restrooms they are clean. Personally that was a plus for me.

Love this place. Great, large cocktail menu. Awesome bartenders. Cool atmosphere. Music Bingo on Tuesdays at 7 is great!

Really glad me and my friend definitely to hang here for a quick drink(s). Lovely bar and very nice atmosphere. Plus size friendly seats! And tons of space for big crowds. Definitely will be back.

Blackberry Smoke
Very unique and interesting drinks, unlike mainstream cocktail bars. This is more like something you would see in Denver, CO. This place is upscale, with great decor. They could change the music to something a bit lower and sultry to suit the decor (jazz?) but I still love the spot. Not for the old at heart. Hoping they will offer live music.

I came here around 4:50pm on a Friday afternoon with co workers. It was hot outside and hot inside as well, in my opinion. It was fairly busy inside. We came in the back way and sat at the bar. I ordered Barbados Sunset for my drink. I think we were all just doing one drink.
Little did we know, it was their grand opening. Around 5pm, they had a ribbon cutting and the Mayor of Winston was present. There was a small speech and mini photo oop. It was nice!
My drink was ready when we went back inside. It was decent but not the best drink I’ve had. I wish it would’ve been sweeter. Here, they don’t sell food but they do have pre packaged snacks, which I didn’t get.
Overall, it was nice! Average prices for cocktails. Good vibes and ambiance. The staff we encountered were friendly.
I’m a big fan of this Carolina franchise, having been to the GSO and Durham locations always a good adult atmosphere and great drinks, BUT.. the Winston location was a big letdown. Went on a Saturday afternoon and there wasn’t a big crowd inside the bartender was attentive and friendly however the thing or creature that ruined our experience was COCKROACHES!!
My girlfriend noticed them first on the bar and I tried to give the establishment the benefit of the doubt that maybe with the door open and unseasonably warm temperature in March and that maybe it just wandered in.. however a young lady next to us also noticed the bugs and mentioned it to the bartender who promptly killed the cockroach with a napkin and did not wash his hands afterwards! The bartender stated they moved something around and now cockroaches are coming out of the woodwork! Definitely not what we wanted to hear so we immediately left and most likely will never be back.

Drunks are great and the bartenders are really nice and knowledgeable about spirits. Great location downtown. A great place to grab a drink.
