The Don Tequila Mexican Grill Experience (Dine-In Edition). So, on this day, I had a taste for some Mexican food but wanted to try somewhere new. I had the day off and took a later lunch than usual to avoid the crowd. Upon entering the establishment, I was greeted and couldn't help but see the many drink specials they offered. I already knew I was in for a treat whenever I see this type of advertisement. I ordered a Lime Margarita, the Lunch Special # 5, served with a Burrito, Taco, and Rice. I went to the restroom while waiting for my food which appeared clean. Once back at the table, I had chips and salsa and my drink, which was good. Then my food arrived, which tasted hot and fresh. Would I return? I would return to Don Tequila. The food and service was good. I also like the different promotions they offer on other days of the week, making me want to come back to try their specials. I will be back to try some different food options, also.

Disappointed!! Ordered the lunch chicken nachos with a side of avocado. Online it says that the meal comes with sour cream, lettuce, tomato and beans. I called when I got back to work and noticed this is not what I ordered. The staff in the phone offered no alternative!! Wasted my $$$$$ 😡 Food: 2 Service: 1

We were travelling on a road trip from Orlando to Ontario and we stopped in North Carolina for dinner on a Saturday night and we checked in 5 other restaurants in the neighborhood, non of them could give us a table even though they weren’t full booked. So we ended up in the best restaurant! This Mexican restaurant staff were so fast in service and the food was fresh and fast and high quality. I’m glad we ended up eating there and they changed our bad experience of North Carolina to an amazing food service experience. I give them a full five star review. I’ve enjoyed take out at Don Tequilas dozens of times. Their food is consistently good quality. I don't drink, but I've seen their drink specials and margaritas keep customers coming back week after week. Their steak fajitas are absolutely delicious, and the meal leaves me feeling satisfied (it’s pretty healthy!). Their arros con pollo was a staple of my diet for a few weeks, as my work does not always leave time for home-cooked meals. I would add to ask for less queso on this! The staff are very polite and attentive. I very much appreciate how efficient and kind they are, even when just picking up for takeout. I definitely recommend giving them a try. The food is always good and comes out quickly. The staff are always friendly and quick to help. The salsa and chips are the best I've had! Service was ok. Ambiance ok. Menu was big. Tequila flight is worth it. Absolutely NO seasoning on the meat, not even salt and pepper. Maybe if the meat was seasoned, it would have been better. I rate this location 5 out of 5 perfect stars! I've never eaten at this location before and I was highly impressed by my experience. For starters, this place is extremely clean, neat and tidy. The staff here makes sure that as soon as customers are done with eating their meals, that the tables are quickly cleaned for that area. I decided to dine in, since I've never eaten here before. I didn't have a heavy appetite so I decided to get the chicken taco salad, one of my all time favorite dishes. I also ordered a soft drink. While I was waiting for my entrée, my waitress brought me a small basket of tortilla chips with some freshly made salsa. It took less than 10 minutes for me to receive my entrée. My taco salad was filled to the top of diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, Mexican shredded cheese, moist shredded chicken and refried beans. I absolutely enjoyed all of my food.
