I’ve ordered from here countless times - great value for money and delicious dishes to choose from. The chicken biryani is my personal favourite - spiced so fabulously and a very generous portion. Great service, very nice people. Very friendly and helpful with choosing the food. The cuisine is a mix of Indian and Nepali and some very nice chicken and lamb options. The momo starter was very nice. The chicken main dishes very also excellent. Prices are reasonable. It was my first try with Diwali palace restaurant and they did not disappointed me. I ordered chicken biryani and chicken tikka kadhai with mango lassi and both dishes were rich in taste along with mango lassi. Food and service was amazingly nice. Finally i found a nice and cozy spot for food. I suggest people to try there, you all will enjoy food with rich taste as it should be. This is my favourite neighbourhood restaurant. :) the waitress is amazing, quite accommodating and friendly. She remembers you even if you have visited just once and makes sure you are getting the best experience. I would love to keep visiting Diwali! The place is cozy. Nice interiors and decor. Food menu is a lot better and has a lot of South Asian flavours (Primarily Indian, but Nepalese is a great addition). Tried biryani and it was better than a lot of places, mostly because it was proper spicy and did not have a bunch of oil shining through it. Kulfi is a must try, mango and pista both. And the samosa has an actual potato filling, that's rare, and the taste is also amazing. Open often! Ideal for tourists who find themselves here next to Ams Bos but in the middle of nowhere. Really reliable place! Great food from Nepal!! Very light as well. We had the best meal. Food was delicious, service was really good and the atmosphere was amazing. We happened to go on Diwali and the place was lively. Portions are big so have it in mind when ordering, the garlic Naan is to die for, the Paneer was amazing and we really enjoyed the Tandoori Chicken. I recently hosted my daughter's birthday party at this restaurant and I must say that I had a fantastic experience overall. The food was absolutely delicious and my guests were raving about it. However, there was a slight delay in bringing out the food so better to keep them informed exact time you expect food. I also appreciated that they allowed me to decorate the space the day before the party without any hassle, which made the day of the party run much smoother. I would recommend this restaurant for any event or gathering, as the quality of the food and level of service were impressive."
