We visited District Biscuit this afternoon and everything was amazing!! The biscuits were so fluffy, flaky, and buttery!! Better than biscuits I had in Nashville. We tried the chicken sausage, egg and biscuit sandwich, the French toast biscuits, and just the normal plain biscuit. Our favorite was just the regular biscuit and we can’t wait to try it next time with honey butter and/or jelly!! It was so good we ate it with nothing on it. The service was great, not sure if he was the owner, but he was so nice and gave us recommendations and made sure we enjoyed everything! The interior itself is very clean and cute and the service is fast. We were so excited to try everything we forgot to take pictures until we started eating! The inside was charming. Biscuit was good, and probably the only thing worth getting from the menu. Gravy was pricey, $4.25 for a small container. We were dining in, but was served with to go boxes because the restaurant dishwasher was broken. Gravy was too hot for the plastic container, and the lid and bottom were a little melted. We ended up throwing it away because of health concerns. They really should not serve it in that way even for to go. Other items were a little disappointed. We also ordered a breakfast plate, the egg had butter or some grease on it, my husband felt very sick and couldn’t finish the second egg. Sausage and hash brown taste like microwaved that the center was way too hot. Service was good, except we were asked every a few minutes that if we need any help (we are kind of the ‘leave us alone’ people). I came here today about a Good 11:10am. It's very much a chill vibe, Greeted Immediately, order was taken immediately fast but respectful customer service... 8 tables but spacious I love that they took into consideration there's still a pandemic and wanting to keep their guests safe!. I got a wonderful lemony herbal delicious hot tea & a biscuit with the in-house honey butter which is amaaaaazing!! & sausage biscuit to go!! My mom LOVED the sausage patty to biscuit ratio and the softness of the biscuit it wasn't dry, didn't need milk or water! 😂 A SOLID biscuit indeed!! . The texture of the biscuit isn't like every other biscuit, think of flaky croissants/puff pastry . Its melt in your mouth soft and fluffy!! then put the honey butter on it yummmmmmmm .. if nothing else buy a damn biscuit by itself/order some to take home! It's sooo worth it !! Even your Pet will enjoy it!!.. I'd most definitely return! Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Biscuit Beignets

My husband and I lived in Austin for a while, and since we moved to Washington DC, we haven’t been able to find good biscuits until we tried District Biscuit Company! OMG, today was the second time we got their biscuits, and they are so well done. If you are in the area, this place is a must-try. Plus, the service is very nice, and everyone is friendly! Dined in for the first time today! Such a lovely meal. Immediately walked in and it was busy and popping. At a first glance this was a great sign, people seemed to be getting their food quickly and promptly even with only one person working. I was able to find a table and sit down to read over the menu before going to the screen up front to place my order. I got a bit of everything. I chose an iced mocha to drink, My boyfriend got the chicken sandwich with cheese and mojo sauce, I got the chicken sandwich with honey butter. There was a bit of a wait, but WELL worth it. Never have I devoured a meal so fast. The way I’d describe it was his meal was the savory and mine was the sweet. So exceptional. To finish off, we split the beignet basket and that was delicious as well. Totally will be returning Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Chicken Biscuit
I have been 4 times now. The photos are from the third visit, when they had chicken in stock. The first two trips they were out of chicken? (At 10am) I think the chicken sandwich came with this honey sauce. Way too much sauce for me! Maybe get sauce on the side? Next visit I ordered the egg and bacon sandwich. The biscuit is the star of the show. I think in the future I will just order the biscuits to bring home? EDITED: we went back and I got pictures this time. SO. FREAKIN. GOOD. We just stopped in for brunch while our car was being serviced on the recommendation of the Tesla staff and we had the BEST experience!! The staff at DBC was so welcoming as soon as we walked in the door, answering menu questions and giving recommendations. I wish I took pictures of the food, but I was so hungry that I didn’t even think about it until after it was devoured. We ordered the chicken biscuit with hot honey, hashbrowns, and the cinnamon sugar biscuit beignets. I also ordered a drip coffee and they kindly made a fresh pot just for me! The food was DELICIOUS! I love fried chicken with hot honey and they are killing it here! The biscuit beignets were also AMAZING! Highly recommend and I can’t wait until we’re in the area again so we can stop in! Very chill atmosphere… small but cozy, which is my ideal place! The best part: the biscuits. Oh my goodness…. I can’t say enough. BEST BISCUIT EVER. Chicken sausage patty was delicious too. Everything tasted real, fresh, delicious. It has that local, easy, breezy vibe. Definitely coming back for more. Goodness, this place is wonderful! The biscuits are amazing... Must be some secret family recipe. Kids and I had the ultimate breakfast and the French toast, and both were serious gourmet meals. The owners and were sweet and friendly, and the barista lady was adorable. Definitely coming back here every chance I get. Excellent breakfast! We did takeout and usually that can be hit or miss. DBC did a great job at it though. The Biscuits and Gravy were great and the French Toast Biscuits were amazing. The sides including bacon (some of the best thick cut bacon I’ve ever had) and eggs were cooked perfectly. Additionally, the prices were very reasonable for the area. Highly recommend!
