We saw this booth at the Lakeland market today. Overall, we bought two cookies from the older man, but my problem is the way we were greeted by the younger guy. We were excited to try a new market and support small local businesses just to be greeted with "well you look hungry." Because I am plus size, I must be hungry? I'm sure I looked just as anyone else walking past their booth, but since I am plus size, I was judged from that first moment. Think about what you say before you open your mouth. He had no idea of my situation and was probably equally as ignorant as to how those words would tare me down, but he could have also just greeted me with "would you like a cookie" like he did the girls before us in line. Usually people cook or bake because their creations bring joy to others. Not here. While the cookies looked great, I wouldn't know if they're good or not because I was so disgusted by being judged in the first 5 minutes of the event that I threw them away. Very disappointed.

Really want to support a local business, especially during these really hard times. I legitimately and deeply care for our local businesses, and this year we’ve been trying to go predominantly local when possible.
This was our first time getting Dino’s Cookies and we were really excited. But we received cookies that we completely raw and inedible. We were very disappointed.
To be fair, I tried to search their website to see if their cookies are supposed to be raw-safe cookies, because that would make me feel better and make sense for jumbo cookies. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find any information on this. If there is, and I’m wrong...I will completely change my review! I don’t want to hurt or snap at a local business, but I did want to make them aware.
I tried Dino’s cookies multiple times , first time I tried their cookies , WOW!!!! The cookies were fantastic, I ordered 4 , ate one each day and after 4 days they were as good , if not better from then the day I bought them. . The next time I tried there ice cream and absolutely delicious , a lot of flavors to choose from.
Tonight I stopped in and tried there Pizza , again delicious , glad to see Dino’s cookies here at Arboretum, I also like that they are open till midnight , not hardly any restaurants open passed 9. Keep up the good work. Definitely be a regular
Wow. My friend & I were craving sweets one night & stumbled upon Dino’s on doordash and we were both hooked after the first bite. I crave them constantly now. Don’t sleep on the white chocolate cranberry.
Wednesday night, 7 friends and family members and I went to Dino's Cookies & Eatery for dinner before a nearby movie , and we found it to be GREAT ! The new interior design was fresh and appealing - - no more uninviting dark look, thanks to the new updated decor of the place. I ordered the Gyro Meat Lamb Pizza, and I think it was the tastiest pizza I've ever had ! Their new system of ordering your meal at the counter before you go to sit down, then having full service at your table, really seemed to speed up things, and all 8 of our various pizzas, dinners and burgers were served to us at our table within10 to 15 minutes ! That really helped us to make it to the movie on time ! In fact, we all enjoyed our dinner so much, we even returned to Dino's after the movie for some of their delicious desserts - Gelato, Ice Cream, and delicious huge Cookies - all home-made ! Looking forward to going back to Dino's again next week for movie night !
Ive tried many cookie places like insomnia and other local spots. Imo Dino is the best cookie I've had. It’s on the larger side and thick as well. Almost so big you can eat it with a fork. You might even have to save some for later. I love cookies on the softer/gooey side, more fudge like. That’s how these are. Amazing flavor and you can microwave them to get that fresh baked feel. Saw people concerned with them being undercooked they are so big it’s impossible to have a crunchy/hard feel without ruining the integrity of the cookie. Even if they’re gooey or softer in feel it’s completely safe to eat.
I ordered the Diet Busting Tart Cookie. through Postmates. The illustration pictured a cookie with fluffy buttercream frosting with a cherry on top. What I received was a cold cookie with green frosting and child-like sprinkles. It was to be part of a birthday surprise tonight but I couldn’t serve it. Sad ending for a $9.00 cookie. The Dark Chocolate Chip on the same order was warm and scrumptious. I placed my first order with Dino’s a.couple of weeks ago. I was concerned about the consistency of the cookies, but came to this website and found a very reasonable explanation of how the cookies are made and delivered. My mistake was not eating them while they were still warm. I used the suggested oven warming process but after checked after 5 minutes and they were already a the gooey consistency that I love.
I ordered three kinds of cookies and didn't like any of them. I agree with other reviews that the cookies seemed undercooked and almost raw in the center which made me uncomfortable, but the taste was my main problem. The chocolate chip cookie had a difficult to describe, somewhat artificial flavor that kind of reminded me of pre-packaged soft cookie brands like Grandma's Cookies. The sugar cookie icing had a terrible flavor reminiscent of cherry cough syrup flavoring. The white chocolate macadamia cookie was the best of the 3, but i didn't care for it either. Finally, the price was outrageous at $6 per cookie (i used for Door Dash, so maybe the in store prices are more reasonable.) I don't recommend these cookies and threw all 3 of mine in the trash.
Edit to add my receipt in response to the owner's comment.
Finally a good gooey cookie. The way they are meant to be eaten. These are thick and gooey in the middle. Very delicious. The people complaining about “raw” cookies remind me of the people who eat a well done steak. Disgusting. And the picture posted of the “raw” cookie is what made me door dash these after seeing that lol. If you want a crunchy nasty cookie stick to the chips a hoy. If you appreciate a cookie done right order these.
