First thing. Went to pay for my food and next thing I know I have an employee looking over my back as I entered my PIN #. They charge for getting cash back when they are already running the card for the food.
Second thing was there price was $6 more than walmart. I also did not buy store brand of 1 item. Walmart also does not charge to get $ back.
So do some price shopping on your things you buy here.
The pharmacist, Mark G, is the absolute rudest, most disrespectful person I've come across in quite some time. I went to the Dillons off Maple & Maize 1st & they couldn't fill the medicine because they were out. So I took the paper prescription to this Dillons & my doctor wrote my PO Box address on the prescription. He's been doing this for years & no other pharmacist or pharmacy has ever had an issue with my address being a PO Box. Pharmacist Mark G came to the window and yelled at me, demanding a physical address. I explained to him that I've never had to give it out before & didn't feel comfortable writing on the prescription that my doctor already wrote on. He yelled that at "HIS" Dillons & this what's required. Just rude about the entire thing. When I picked up my medicine, I told him I wanted to give him a Google review & refused to give his name.🤣🤣 Thank goodness it was on my prescription bottle. Mark G, I hope you have a better day & I'll never use this Dillons pharmacy again. He was just rude & especially to an Army Veteran.
I went to the Dillons here at 135th st N and Maple since Google maps show they have a salad bar. They do not have a salad bar. This store needs to update their information. This 1 star rating is due to mis-information regarding a salad bar here and does not reflect any other aspects. I came for a salad and nothing else. However, it does raise the question, is all other information up to date?
This used to be my favorite Dillons, and would travel to this one even if it wasn’t close by. The customer service used to be great. I know this situation pertains to me, as I redeemed a rain check for .99 cent / lb ribs that were just on sale maybe 3 months ago for that price. The cashier didn’t want to honor it, but no where on the rain check does it have an expiration date. Thankfully the manager did honor it. I go in today and ask for a rain check on Green Giant vegetables, and the same cashier states they now have an 30 day expiration date, though it doesn’t say on the paper yet. She stated it was because someone brought in a rain check that “was 2 years old “ recently. I knew the situation pertained to me, and it definitely wasnt even close to 2 years old. They wouldn’t give me a rain check on the canned vegetables, stating it never should have been on the ad and they weren’t planning on getting a shipment in. Im tired of the prices constantly going up, the customer service declining and always getting fresh fruit that molds the next day.
Normally a great place to shop, staff is usually very friendly. Except for the guy tonight (09/17/2023) who was sitting at the front door with it locked 4 minutes before close and who shot daggers at me with his eyeballs when I came inside as he said "you have 3 minutes " in a disgusted tone. Hey buddy. I know perfectly well what time you close and I needed ONE thing at the front of the store. I was in and out in less than a minute. But thanks for making me feel SO welcome. As I said when I was leaving, sorry to have inconvenienced you so much by my 45 second transaction. You know, you are in a customer service position which YOU chose. Your employers should be aware of how you're treating people. I'm sure I wasn't the first and I won't be the last.
They cancelled my online order because they “don’t have enough time to fill the order.” We placed the order well in advance and then they called a hour and a half before I’m supposed to pick it up and cancelled it. Then they proceed to say maybe place the order tomorrow or another day that is more “convenient” as the solve to this problem... Super disorganized on their part and very irritating as a frequent customer.
Yesterday (11/17/23) was my first time in this Dillons. I wanted deli chicken and I didn't want big box gross chicken, and my friend suggested that I go to Dillons. I just moved to the West side of town, so I decided to give it a shot.
I went into the Deli and encountered the most lovely lady. Her name was Ms. Sherma.
We chatted briefly and she was absolutely delightful. I ordered what I wanted and we chatted a bit more, then another very sweet lady, Joerita was working with her as well. She chatted for a moment as well, and both of these ladies were top notch customer service rock stars. The chicken was excellent.
After work today (11/18) I decided to go back in there today to get a bit more chicken because it was so awesome.
Sure enough, Ms Sherma was there, and recognized me right away. She recognized me immediately and just smiled great big and asked me if I came to give her a hard time, and we laughed a little. I asked her if they had what I wanted, and she doesn't cook, but she asked some lady that was working named Rose if they were cooking it, and that lady was blatantly disrespectful to Ms Sherma. She stated, "I don't know, I'm going on break," commenced to roll her eyes and sprint off. Terrible customer service and lack of team work.
Ms Sherma found out how long it would take for my request and informed me. I went to walk around for a bit while waiting, and then ran into Joerita who was helping stock stuff on the floor in the deli area. She spoke to me and was very gentle and sweet.
Ms Sherma and Joerita's attentiveness and excellent customer service ability went far above and beyond expectations. They were great.
Also, today was Ms Sherma's Birthday! Everyone tell her Happy Birthday. Thank you Heather and Dillons for having awesome employees such as the above mentioned. They truly make a difference in Dillons customers shopping experience! Kuddos Ms Sherma and Joerita ❤️
There was a shooting there but that was stupid kids with a gun and no parents. I always go there to get sushi with frinds because I live so close to the place.
