Visited with a group of 7 people and had the set menu which was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is really cozy and invites for a really good time. The food was a highlight! But not the most diverse wine list (very few options for red).We also brought a cake for the birthday from outside and celebrated for a small fee of 1eu per person. We got ample food by the end of the night but, maybe something to improve with the group menu is that some dishes were so small and the table only got 2 servings per dish to share with 7 people which gave everyone barely a bit of the dish. Maybe an idea to at least do 3 servings per dish so that 2-3 people can share max? And not 1 serving per 4 people. Would go again!

Sat at the bar for an impromptu dinner and it truly exceeded all expectations. The food was fantastic - the gnocchi was out of this world, especially with the fresh bread dipped in the remaining sauce. I almost cried it was so delicious. The staff was friendly and attentive and the energy in the restaurant was warm and comfy. So happy to have this in the neighborhood - a definite must visit in Noord.

The food and wine selection were good and the staff was friendly. However, our experience was ruined by the long waiting times. We had to wait for about 20 minutes to be seated and then waited over an hour in between courses (including dessert, which didn't look like it needed a lot of preparation). Quite a dissapointment since the restaurant looked promising, hope these issues get solved over time.

Went here twice for dinner, will go many times again. I adore this place. The food is delicious, the staff is friendly and sweet. The bread and butter is to die for and the atmosphere is top-notch. A real gem in het Oude Noorden!

We were waiting for the menu for 20 min since we came. The plates were not clean. The day after we were feeling sick from the food.

The atmosphere makes you think that DiepNoord has been around for years. The wooden accents give a warm and cosy feeling to the place. The small neon signs and jazzy playlist make give DiepNoord a modern touch. The dishes are nicely balanced and well portioned at their price-point. Trusting on classic but well executed combinations and dishes like steak tartare with Jerusalem artichoke and squid with nduja, the menu offeres something for everyone. Especially the guinea fowl dish with bisque and carrots was spot on. The wine list was also varying prices with the 380Volt from Nasterec als a highlight. Definitely coming back to DiepNoord!
