Nestled in Appleton, Dick and Joan's 220 Club is a classic supper club that offers a menu of steaks, seafood, and traditional American fare. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with dim lighting and cozy booths perfect for intimate dinners or small gatherings. The interior design is reminiscent of a bygone era, complete with a vintage bar and wood-paneled walls. Prices are reasonable, with entrees ranging from $14 to $29. Some standout dishes include the broiled haddock, fried scallops, and king cut prime rib. The establishment also features a full bar, with classic cocktails like Old Fashioneds and Manhattans, as well as local craft beers and a selection of wines. For non-alcoholic options, they have a variety of soft drinks and juices. While the service can be hit or miss, the friendly staff and excellent food make it a worthwhile visit. They were fairly busy for 6pm on a Tuesday but the wait was pleasant. Place is nice and clean and doesn’t smell musty or dirty like some supper clubs can. The bar area is spacious to wait either at the bar or in some small lower tables. We came for the salad bar and were a bit underwhelmed. It says Fridays have a limited salad bar and if you asked me what that looked like tonight’s is what I’d say. Lettuce, a few standard veggie toppings, your usual dressings, croutons. Missing things like pickles, carrots, corn or peas, three bean salad, cottage cheese. But it was all fresh and crisp and had the most important things for a supper club: cheese and liver spreads with crackers and hot bacon dressing. They also have two soups nightly, lasagna (flavorful and not sweet like some places) and ham and potato (perfectly thickened but not like glue and not too salty). I love that they have perch every night. I was a bit skeptical on all the combos being with tenderloin because I don’t like that cut but it was tender yet not mush, perfectly charred and crusty outside but a spot-on medium rare almost to the rare side. Seasoned well and made me a believer in tenderloin. The perch was some of the best I’ve ever had. Large. Moist fillets and cooked to perfection so it was crispy cracker crumb outside but moist and flaky inside. The broasted chicken was crispy and juicy but a bit salty for my taste. Potato puffs were a fun take on potato sides and well seasoned. Ambiance is what you’d expect, dark wood and “homey” ambiance. Waitresses are fairly attentive and get the job done. It’s also absurdly affordable, we paid more for a burger lunch earlier that day and here we even had leftovers. Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Soup
We love coming her for a fish fry! Their other food including the tenderloin is also amazing! The salad bar and soup selections are great and the atmosphere is perfect! We recommend it to anyone wanting a great fish fry or the supper club experience. Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Perch & Tenderloin
Waitress was great. Drinks good. Food was middle of the road. Price point was good. French onion soup had very little flavor. Salad bar was decent. Male at the bar was very unfriendly even tho he came off as owner or bar manager type person. Tried small talk and was more interested in talking to one lady than anything else.

Not impressed at all.. Hour and a half to be seated.. Prime Rib had absolutely NO flavor.. my girlfriend's prime rib, more than half was fat.. my daughter got 2 lobster tails and tenderloin special, the lobster was disgusting and the steak no flavor. Waitress Never even asked if we needed drinks entire time.. Bartenders super rude and slow. Tons of better restaurants around, don't waste your time and $!! Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Very disappointing. Sat and waited for a table for about an hour and a half with no updates. Drinks, while we waited, were disappointing. One of the more disappointing Old Fashioneds I've had in Wisconsin. The bar tenders were not too friendly, but I don't often hold that against busy bartenders. Once we did sit down, it was clear the goal was to get us out of there as soon as possible. No one asked if we wanted drinks once we sat down. What's the point of going to a supper club if you can't get a grasshopper? I can't even be sure they had them. They also didn't ask if I was finished (I wasn't) when they took my plate away. My tenderloin was also very clearly medium rare when I asked for medium. The salad bar was also nothing to rave about, even though that was the thing most recommended to me about this place (we went on Wednesday, so it wasn't even the limited salad bar). There were very few toppings, it was essentially what I might expect from a salad bar at a grocery store. Except they might have had egg. I will say, the people I was with enjoyed the soup from the salad bar. Overall, they're going through the motions. There's no interest in creating an enjoyable experience here. It did not feel like a supper club, it felt like we crashed an unfriendly neighbor's family dinner. Price per person $30–50 Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

Again a tough review. After living in the Fox Valley area for 7 yrs, we decided to try this supper club because that's our new hobby since we are older now. Walked in and stood in the hall til we read to register at bar. Went to bar and they said during lunch hours to stand in hall. Was quite busy because it was Monday Prime rib special day. No big deal. We got seated and it took 10 min to order a drink and lunch altogether for fear we wouldn't see her for awhile but they were clearing out some. Hopefully they have more waitstaff, these 2 older ladies ran quite a bit. Went to the salad bar and was amazed! Everythng on it was extremely fresh and I should know because I'm picky! The Taco Soup was phenomenal! Next the Prime rib came with a side of Potato puffs. Delicious and priced at $14.95, you cant beat it! My mother (born in 1918) said dining is a lost art. Lately, I'm going to have to agree with her. Nothing is suggested anymore, specials aren't read, just impersonal. All being said, worth a try on perhaps a slower day. Food was great. Oh and the bread tasted like it was made minutes prior. Mangia! Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes Soup

We went on New Year's Eve. It was really confusing how to get a table, we walked from the bar to the dining area a few times before flagging down a waitress who told us to go to the bar and a waitress would take our order once we were ready and then we could get in line for a table. We were seated pretty quickly for how many people were there. Our waitress was very sweet and attentive. The salad bar was ok; I've been to other supper clubs with more selection however we enjoyed the salad and tuna salad offered. The bread brought to each table was very good. I didn't care for the shrimp scampi that I ordered. The shrimp was over seasoned and rubbery. The waitress did ask if I'd like something else and was very nice. The broiled scallops were very good. My husband ordered the prime rib. The portion was enormous which worked out great to have for dinner and leftover lunch the next day. He enjoyed his meal. The restaurant and bar has a very welcoming feeling. It was decorated for the holidays beautifully, bringing out the restaurant's character.
Can't get a table. Have to flag someone down. Sour bartenders. No organization for getting your name on a list for a table...just awful. We have been here 2x in the last 2 years and will not go back. Good luck. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Food was great. Service sucked. Server seemed annoyed I was even there to begin with, was not hospitable, and did not care to answer my questions. I liked the food, but will not go back, as quality of service is very important to me for my overall experience.

Classic Midwest super club. Dim lighting, kids at the bar with their parents, large salad bar with soup and cheese spread! The list goes on but really what else can you ask for? The only odd part, and it really isn't a big deal just odd is that you order at the bar before you are seated, then once a table opens up you are seated and served. Did I mention the basket of warm bread? Anyone that enjoys super clubs can't go wrong here.
