Finally found a real French Croissants in LA size/ taste/ texture everything was perfect! From the delicious French butter smell the honeycomb texture & just the right amount of dough & sweetness, an authentic and tasty viennoiserie 🥐 that took me back to my childhood!! Love love love… although they’re a bit higher price than some other French locations Service Take out Meal type Breakfast Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Chocolate Croissant
A nice little french bakery. It was still relatively new when I tried this place out. I saw this in a google article and wanted to try it out. Their selection was great. Their price was a bit more than other places, but their quality was pretty good. It was a little hard to tell which items were priced because some names I wasn't familiar with. The taste was very good. I would come back again to try out their other stuff. You will need a big budget of you want to buy for a group of people. Parking was a bit hard to find. You have to pay on the street which is hit or miss.
A+ pastries (croissants, chocolate croissants, chouquettes). Serviceable baguette, but tight inside (mie serrée) and not very crusty. Hours unclear and changing (others said in these reviews that it wasn't open Sundays, but today Sunday it is), and won't pick up the phone to confirm. mid croissants. bianca and lou the french on the block are a million times better. also, they forgot my pre-order and the lady then proceeded to incorrectly package it as well. if i didn’t come as early as i did, i wouldn’t even have gotten my order that i had to place 48 hours in advance. do not recommend for service or for quality. These are my favorite favorite French pastry in LA, dare I say France too!! However I always seem to wake up craving them the most on Sundays - please open for the whole weekend! A Sunday morning chouquette would be the dream.

If I have had a better almond croissant, I don’t remember. And I ate my weight in croissants across two Paris visits. And the Kouign-amann??? Perfect portion. Lamination heaven. Des Croissants is the new standard.

This french bakery is amazing! So tasty! Her pastries are tastier than a lot of bakeries of Paris. Everything is made the morning by the french baker with french stuffs like the flour or the Isigny butter! I really recommend, and I know what I'm talking about, I'm french 😉 ! Also you should try their Kougn Aman, he's AMAZING !

I so wanted this cute bakery with limited hours to knock it out of the park and it was more of a bunt. Pasties look good but for the price I expected more. The fruit tart creme was lacking flavor, and kouign amann was a sticky sweet bun. The bottom of it stuck to the paper it was served on. Just a let down.
