Stumbled upon this place on vacation while walking on Main Street. The vibe here is super unique, interesting and cool. They have a large craft cocktail menu, with house made syrups, flavoring etc. The food and service were also fantastic. We shared the chicken caprese with truffle fries, and the arugula goat cheese flatbread. If you want something other than a run of the mill restaurant, this is your place. This place is phenomenal. It's unassuming as, at first glance, it looks like every other random bar you could go to. However, once inside, they have a vast menu of unique and artsy cocktails that are delicious as well. The ambiance is like being in a well lit wonderland trip. Burger and sweet potato fries were also delicious. Pleasantly surprised!!! The atmosphere is great, the staff are very friendly, and the food and cocktails are... disappointing. We got some of their signature cocktails, including the Derailed Lemonade, and they were just not very good. Got a Cuban (and I do so love my Cuban sandwiches), and it turned out to basically be a subpar barbecue sandwich, and my wife had a quesadilla that was fairly bland. It was worth the wait in time to get our food. I had been suggested this restaurant by a customer and was glad I stopped by. The atmosphere was great, there were fake trees inside with lights and it was gorgeous. The tables were secluded and had nice chairs to sit on. I noticed an outdoor patio in the back and think I'll sit there next time just to try it out. The menu had a variety of drink options from Alice in wonderland themed to witchy themed all with creative names. I ended up ordering an IPA on tap by the suggestion of the waitress and I was not disappointed. My food ended up coming out before my beer but I had water in the meantime(the menu did warn about the wait for items, so I wasn't too aggravated). I ordered a Buffalo chicken sandwich on a brioche bun and a side of coleslaw which was delicious! Though the items took longer than the normal wait time, the waitress seemed to be on top of her game. My first visit here was about 3 years ago, I was on a solo trip and stumbled upon the Derailed Pour House solely because of photos I saw in other reviews. It was an amazing experience! The staff were awesome and polite, the food delightful, and the drinks hit just right! Later in the evening the owner came over to say hello and chat about my experience. We visited for several minutes, she really cared about her business and customer's experience. I was left with such a positive impression that I would talk about it regularly to my partner over the years. A few years later, my partner and I planned a trip to Durango and I finally got to introduce him to the Derailed Pour House this past Christmas! The experience was just as I remembered; the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, the live music very pleasant to listen to, and of course the food, drinks, and staff just as amazing as I had remembered. Service was great, the porthole drinks are a cool concept but they do sell out. The first one was great the second was a different one that was not so great. The drinks are presented very well.
