The location really is main draw for this restaurant. It overlooks the beautiful Kralingseplass lake and is surrounded by the lush green forest. It's very pleasant in summer to sit out on the terrace and also quite romantic at night. The menu is very average, not a lot to choose from and pretty much the same you get at all Dutch restaurants here. It was tasty but nothing special. While the service is friendly enough they, (and almost all restaurants in NL at the moment) are extremely short staffed so it takes very long to be served and very hard to get servers attention. Very nice restaurant in the center of the Kralingse bos. Located in the forest with views over the lake, this is an excellent location for a pleasant lunch. Good food and a laid back atmosphere. Easy parking. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person €40–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

It's always a treat coming here for afternoon drinks & a snack or for a great meal. This place has the best view on the Rotterdam skyline. Overlooking the lake, you can see the sun set and the skyline illuminate, during your meal. The service is good, the staff very friendly and some the courses are to die for, like the classic Dutch Bitterbal, this time made with mushroom risotto en topped with a truffle mayonnaise. They have a large outside terras, where you can enjoy your dinner overlooking the lake. The only downside is that there's no terras heating, and I personally don't like the two hour timeframe they've set up, because of CO-VID19, though it's understandable. So if you're up for a great restaurant, where you can easily combine drinks or a meal with a stroll through the forest or along the lakeside, this is the place to be!

Beautiful and relaxable place with open air terrace. If you need something special with your guests or company, I would like to recommend this restaurant. The dishes are good. Especially, we’re hooked on ‘meat’ and ‘deserts’ menu.
