I'm sharing a picture of a Tex-Mex cheeseburger and fries that cost $24.69. That's TWENTY FIVE bucks for a little burger and a plate of fries. There was absolutely nothing special about this "Tex-Mex" burger & fry combo whatsoever. It tasted like it should have been a $7.oo combo. I'm also sharing a pic of a single hard ground beef taco that costs $5.14. Again, you can find waaaaay better tacos anywhere in CDA for $2-3.oo/each that taste way better than this. The last pic I am sharing is a chicken fajita bowl (you can see how small the portion is by the size of my hand compared to the "bowl" it came in) that is super tiny with barely any chicken in it. These three pics are a $50 meal total. That's a burger & fries, 1 single taco, and a little chicken fajita bowl. So, it looks like they are trying to get rich off of every single order, instead of giving people a great meal, decent prices, and a portion size that fits the hefty price tag. The dinners I make at my own home taste better than these expensive disappointments, so they offer nothing special at all. I 100% do NOT recommend purchasing food here and I surely will never purchase food from this place again. Service Delivery Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

I was excited to try this location out in Coeur D Alene Idaho. First impression was the restaurant was nice, clean, and brought a good vibe. Cashier was great, waitress not so much. I asked for salsa and she turned and gave me look like, "are you serious?" OK, rewind.....there's no salsa bar (most Mexican restaurants have one, they don't) There's no hot sauce on the table..(most Mexican restaurants have hot sauce available at hand. They don't.) So asking for it shouldn't be a issue. It should be offered. Especially for the cost of the food. Now onto the food.... It was ok, nothing great. If anything way to salty. Small portions main dish, lots of beans and rice, I mean why not? Beans and rice are cheap, let's fill them up on that. Lots of Mexican restaurants opening up around town, this location in general has seen its fair share of restaurants come and go. I hope De Leon's does it right here. They have potential for sure. Just try harder and don't cheap out like every other restaurant. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4

We went because we love the hot counter at the grocery stores in Spokane and Spokane Valley. We were not disappointed! I'm not sure if they sell their sauces and stuff by the pound yet. They also don't have Tortillas or chips for sale yet, but they were only open three days when we went. Great food and the service will be great once they get the kinks worked out. We will be back! De Leon's Tex Mex Grill is just ok. For a family with roots in Mexico you'd expect quite a bit more from their flavors, especially the sauces and salsas. The staff are great however but unfortunately their service doesn't make up for the lackluster flavor of the menu. Visited Friday, October 20, 2023. The restaurant was busy with most tables being occupied. The line to order was 3 customers deep. The wait time was a mere minutes. The ordering process was easy and quick as was the time to receive our meals. When the food arrived it was nicely presented and warm. We ordered tacos, burritos, taquitos and nachos. Each plate looked great. The taste was just ok. Nothing special. The employee that delivered our food offered additional salsa which we requested one of each. When the salsas were presented to us, it was stated that the spicy 'would grow hair on your chest' from the woman that delivered it. Coming from, you guessed it Southern California, not only did the spicy salsa not grow hair on our chest but there was barely a hint of spice at all. The other 2 salsas, mild and tomatillo were ok but again lacking in any real flavor. The staff were great. I noticed at least one face that was a previous Cosmic Cowboy employee. With the great staff yet mediocre food this isn't a place I would recommend or go out of my way for. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

I am a huge fan of the DeLeon's in Spokane near Gonzaga and was excited when this restaurant opened much nearer my home. However, the food is nowhere near as good. I've given it multiple chances, eating there and tonight taking away. Tonight's fajitas had so few shrimp, I picked them out so I could see how pitiful it was. Nine very small shrimp for $22. My wife and daughter had chicken fajitas, which seemed more adequately portioned. I'm done giving this location chances. There are better options locally. And the long drive to Gonzaga is worth compared to the bad food here. Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100 Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
Staff super friendly & helpful on our first visit. A little pricey for self order but portions generous. Food served quickly & fresh off the grill. Plenty of seating, not crowded. I thought my fajita plate was very good and I’ll get 2 meals out of it! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Fajitas
This place is as 'Tex Mex' as black beans. If you don't know what I mean, you've never been to South Texas. I should have known but I was hoping for some good Tex Mex or at least Taco Cabana style. The price was too much compared to the quality of food. The try to be upscale Mexican and it doesn't work. I saw quite a bit of food left on empty tables so I don't think I'm the only one who was disappointed. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

Should have left this in Texas. Pretty much bought $35 of dog food. How you going to eat a 'taco' that's got stew meat on it? And speaking of meat, where's the meat in this burrito? Don't waste your money. Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
