In our mood for Indonesian food we went to this place in Scheveningen which we found at Google Maps. We ordered the rice with 2 vegetables and 2 kind of meat with complimentary egg. The food was fresh, looked delicious and tasted good. The price was still acceptable, as the price level in general is higher in the Netherlands. In our opinion, the prices of Indonesian restaurant meals are quite high for what you get. We liked the food and would come again.

We bought take-out here and loved it. The food is of good quality and exactly like you would expect from your local “toko” . Portions are rather large, but the taste was so good that I could easily finish all of it. They will definitely see me back!

Was craving for some Indonesian food, so I ordered nasi kuning rames speciaal for dinner. I had high hopes especially because of the many good reviews, but I was underwhelmed and disappointed. The nasi kuning (gele rijst), sajoer lodeh, sambal boontjes and daging smoor are all bland. Don't get me wrong, I was NOT expecting authentic Indonesian flavour. But even for a toko standard, they were really on the bland side of the spectrum. The pittig ei, and kipsate (+ sauce) are OK. They are what you would expect to get in NL. The only good thing I got on the plate is the ajam cashew, and I think they know it too, that's why they charge a premium (+0.50€) for it. I might give it another try and choose other things that they offer. Or to see if perhaps this was just a bad day in the kitchen... I just hope they can prove me wrong then.

Not tasty. Ordered vegetarian meal online, arrived in good quantity but basically flavorless. Not what I expected, we did not eat it in the end.

Al zo vaak gehaald en ieder keer was het super lekker en ook zo vriendelijk en ontspannen geholpen. Ik dacht, weet je wat, dat ga ik tegen iedereen vertellen. De Ajam Cashew is een aanrader, maar eigenlijk is alles lekker. Ze zijn een topper voor de buurt.

Ontzettend lekker gegeten! Heel vriendelijk personeel, alles is mogelijk. Alles vers bereid. Echte authentieke Indische keuken. Je proeft duidelijk het verschil. Wij zijn vanuit Nijmegen gekomen en komen hier graag nog eens terug!
