The Sandwiches are very tasty! The interior leads you in the past. Recommend at least to visit. Meal type Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Very cool restaurant. Felt very fancy and still the staff was very nice to us, clearly beaten down tourists hahaha. Probably better to make reservations but we were able to find a table without it. Delicious food, I love goat cheese and their fried one as entry was great! The restaurant is most definitely not well chair accessible but they have a bar in the ground floor that might be and also serves food.

Wonderful cosy place in an old medieval tower. Very good food, and it's not expensive! Extremely nice staff.

Beautiful location for a restaurant. Menu is rather basic but definitely enough to pick from. I had the lamb burger which was very nice. Staff are friendly and attentive. I love how this place has paid attention to detail. From the ambiance and the decorations to the uniforms of the staff, it is all top notch. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €30–40

Restaurant opens at noon. Bar opens at 5. If you want anything other than Heinikin ask for the bar menu, it has a lot more options.

Great service, 3 course meal and it was excellent! Beautifully presented. And the desert was the best I ever had :D

Wonderful dinner, tasteful and delicious. Cosy atmosphere in beautiful historic building with a nice view and friendly staff. Great value for money. Absolutely recommend this place! Next time when I’n in Hoorn I’ll definitely visit this place again.

We booked a table for 7pm, it was a special night for us, as it was our wedding anniversary. The place looked good and the waitress had been pleasant when we'd looked around the day before. We had high expectations but ended up being disappointed. Our table had been given to an earlier diner and we were asked to wait. We had to wait for almost an hour. The food was reasonable but it also took a long time to arrive; we did not get our main course until 9.15pm. We complained and my husband 'suggested' that we should have a free bottle of wine, to which they agreed but it would have been nice if they had offered it first. Of course, it would have been nice if we hadn't had to wait so long. After our meal, we had a drink in the bar and the chef brought out a decorated plateful of petit-fours, which was a nice touch. The restaurant was far from full so there was no reason for it to take so long.

Great lokation and interior. The food was only just okay. We ordered onion soup but didn't get any bread along with it. But the taste was okay. The main course was seasoned way to little so it was quite boring. We had to wait more than 30 minutes for our starters and the waiters weren't smiling. All in all just about okay but the food wasn't as good as the location.

Great location good food and ambiance. Service could be better. Had to ask three times for some water. Also we were sharing two meals with our little one, but no extra plate or silverware. With a little more it could be great.
