Great service, great owner. Food is absolutely delicious. The place is gorgeous inside so beautiful. Right away they ask if anyone has any allergies. The owner Sjaak can tell so much just about any particular wine. And the food wauw we had 5 courses. My dad who is not easily pleased in restaurants and very food critical thinks the food is an 10,so do I. We were with 7 us of all men and really enjoyed it a lot. Yes not all course are big but the food is really tasty and has many textures to it. I can see this getting an Michelin star eventually.

The ambiance is informal yet fancy, the staff friendly and the food simply great. The menu is small but changes frequently, so there is always something new and exciting to try(as well as a surprise menu (eg the pictures below), which I highly recommend). The staff is very well informed about both the food and the wines, but there is enough to chose if you would rather have a beer or non-alcoholic beverage(the homemade iced tea is amazing).

It was my second visit and I'm pleasantly surprised how the food quality improved! Congratulations to the kitchen team! Fine dining for a very fair price, amazing flavours and combinations. Service on the other hand could use a little but more attention to the guest but the reason must have been explained by how busy the place was and short stuffed. Recommended! Me and my beloved girlfriend had a lovely evening at De Centrale. We took the five course chefs menu, before that we had an amuse and the main dishes are accompanied with some bread and butter. All courses were really tasty and I can definitely recommend De Centrale. We do not drink alcohol, but luckily there are some non alcoholic alternatives on the menu.
