Food is every bit as good as its predecessor. I do miss some of the specialty options that were available once upon a time (bubble teas, pineapple, brown rice, seasoned salmon) but the addition of ramen to the menu very nearly makes up for that. ONLY reason I dropped to 4 stars on food.
Daniel is one of the friendliest guys you'll meet and he'll gladly talk with you about life, the restaurant, the town, etc.
The atmosphere is exactly what you'd expect. One of the up and coming greats in the town. Please give them your business.

Texas bowl was absurdly good, we also had the rodeo bowl and had the same thought. Food was made quick, reasonably priced. Absolutely great vibes!

Texas Heat Poke Bowl
Everything - including water - is served in single-use plastic. They have large open-top electric drink coolers. For a place that opened not too terribly long ago, I’m really amazed at how they are ignoring any type of environmental concern. However, there is a napkin holder on the table that cautions the patron to be environmentally conscious by only using the napkins they need 🤣. I had to open the front door to trigger a ring in the kitchen to get serving personnel to notice that I was asking for them as they did not hear me call for them. The food is unremarkable, with both shiitakes and bamboo shoots minced into tiny pieces that changed both the texture and flavor. A no-return for me.
Add on to yesterday’s post: I also appear to have a light case of food poisoning that’s been plaguing with me since yesterday’s visit.

Rodeo Poke Bowl
Very good. I've had the Piggy bok twice now and it's fantastic. I was afraid I was going to still be hungry after finishing it, but it has a wonderfully sized portion of pulled pork and was filling.
