Come here for some rest after a long walk around Torenpleinkerk van Vleuten uit 1224. Clients state that they like Italian cuisine at this restaurant. You will be offered perfectly cooked spaghetti, pizza and op la. Visit D'Amici to try good tiramisu. Delicious absinthe, wine or limoncello are worth a try here. The food is good, but I definitely recommend the pastas over the pizzas. Unfortunately the service isn’t amazing, one woman I’d even describe as stern. Also, I understand a cloakroom but it needs a better solution/more room/hangers or maybe someone who takes the coat from you to keep it organized. I’ve been to D’Amici several times, however this time was my least: the food did not live up to its expectations and service was fine in the beginning but slacked towards the end. - Food: we ordered one of the dishes of the day; a bigger type of ravioli filled with ricotta and spinach topped with a creamy sauce of Prosecco, pine nuts and cherry tomatoes. The pasta was not all dente, there was plenty of sauce (too much for my liking as it predominated the dish), however pine nuts were scarce and so were the cherry tomatoes. Moreover, the dishes arrived almost as soon as we’d ordered… No “need” for ordering a glass of wine with the food as we had barely started our aperitivo drinks. For dessert I had the pistacchio and white chocolate mousse, a bit too sweet and rich for my liking. However, that just comes down to preference and taste. - Service: at first a waiter came to our table at regular intervals, but after dessert nobody came round anymore to ask if we wanted anything else. Five stars because we keep coming back to this place when we have a craving for good Italian food. The pizza is great and the pasta is mouth wateringly good. Tried the lasagne last night and loved it (was so stuffed after). Their wine menu has a lovely collection of tasty wines. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €20–30

Amazing food! We had the short rib - delicious, melt-in-your-mouth. Pizza caprese from a stone oven. Tiramisu and the incredible pistachio mousse. Authentic Italian food - a must go!

Small restaurant in de meern with an wood oven. We were looking for a pizzeria and this was a great find. Staff is welcoming and alert to serve us. Orders were taken and served fast and efficient. We had some great pizzas and even the simple margarita tasted very good. Especially the pizza base was nice and soft.

The food is excellent. The carpaccio is wonderful, the pizza's are fluffy and tasty. The restaurant would get a 5 + points for the food alone. Sadly the service is really slow. During our visit last week, it took 1 hour and 45 minutes before we got our main course. We sat staring at our empty starter plates for more than an hour. The restaurant had about 25 other guests, so it was not very busy. The pizza baking chef was whisking pile after pile of take away pizza's out of the oven and putting them in card board boxes, but was ignoring our order. The waitresses were constantly asking us to order more drinks - in the end it felt like harrassment. The experience ruins the quality of the food - that's a shame.
