Visiting from out of town. My kids love this place and always want to come here. My wife and a couple of the kids have food allergies and the manager and staff are always careful to their needs. My wife had a lettuce wrapped burger. It was super juicy and got all over the place but she liked the flavor. I got the lemon chicken salad. It was delivered with no chicken. They apologized and made things right. Service is good and everyone seemed happy. I thought the rosemary fries were okay, and the sweet potato fries were really good. I got the Houdini burger, which I thought was good overall. I liked the greens on it with the melted gouda. The bun was soft and fresh, and the aoli was flavorful. It tasted like an expensive burger you might find at a higher end restaurant or steakhouse. Just a bit more expensive ingredients than a typical "BigMac" that's for sure! So that leads to the big question, was it good? I say, "Yeah, Cubby's has decent food." Will I be back soon? Am I looking forward to another visit sometime in the future? I honestly don't think I'll care to come back or feel interested enough in this place to see myself here again. I would definitely rather head to Chom or Habit for a burger&fries instead. Service Dine in Price per person $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
TLDR: Messed up order. Gave us an old DoorDash burger that was missing ingredients but still charged full price. Also messed up salad size. Went for a late night dinner pickup. They messed up both of our orders. We ordered a full size salad and a Gypsy burger. They gave us a half salad and someone else’s burger. I didn’t realize until I got back home. We only were charged for a half salad. So I may have not spoken clearly or there was just a little error. The burger was so blatantly wrong though. They just took an old DoorDash order that wasn’t picked up and gave it to me. The burger was slightly cold which is why I checked. You can see the receipt that was attached to the burger below. Our order was not Aubrey D. The atmosphere is good and the food is tasty… still mad though. The women of the family love Cubby’s. They always like their salads. I always seem to find some thing I like as long as they stay away from the tri-tip sandwich. That sandwich overall has made me sad too many times in the past to try it again This time around we tried a few items that were new to us and left a very happy. Houdini burger - 4 stars - overall good. Tasty and will try again, but would not go out of my way for it. Three Cheese Grilled Cheese - 5 stars - more than just a grilled cheese. There are a lot of tasty things in there. Pomegranate Citrus Kale - 5 stars - kill in general makes me sad. Those who are willing to try it said it was refreshing. The overall four stars are due to be repeatedly disappointing tri tip sandwich and that they are asking me to spend almost $5 on fries Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20

I was extremely disappointed in my salads ordered today. Got the Tri Tip and the Buffalo Chicken half salads. There was a reasonable amount of lettuce, easy filler for most places. The topping were as my grandmother would say, "walked through in rubber boots"! For the cost of nearly $15 for a HALF salad there should be a reasonable amount of the toppings. I even requested double the grilled red peppers, there were also hard to find. Really not worth the money. There was not enough protein on this salad to keep my hunger away for even three hours. Don't waste your money. Go buy a steak and cook it at home. The chicken salad had the same lack of toppings. Come on we are supporting your business, support our hard earned money and patronage with a reasonable portion. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

Literally the first thing I said when I took my first bite was “Wow, that’s some great flavor!” This is one of the best burgers I’ve had in a while. The fries were also really good, and a great portion size for the price. The interior was very clean and open and the staff were very inviting and prompt. Definitely will be coming back here! I got the DragonSlayer burger and the Buffalo Bleu fries.
I wanted to come here a second time before making a decision, because the first time I had it to go and the food was a bit cold and not very good. Came here with my wife, somehow the Buffalo fries were even colder than the first time. Apart from that, the burgers taste good, but they're pretty small. They feel about as filling as in and out, but cost $9-$11 a pop. The Mac and cheese is pretty bland, I had to toss it in the Buffalo and blue cheese to give it any flavor. Overall, feels pretty overhyped.
My office really enjoys getting food from Cubby‘s because of the steak salads. I tried to torta this time and it was pretty flavorful but very small. Overall the food quality is high and definitely worth trying. Ordering the food online is kind of a pain, I would probably order them more for lunch if they had a more user-friendly experience or app to use. I really like the fries that they have there and will definitely order those again. My favorite sandwich at this point is the dragonslayer.
They've recently reduced the size of their burger patties to 2.5 ounces -- and they say they've reduced their prices accordingly, but at $9.50 that's still a very pricey hamburger. I used to love Cubby's, but the food is no longer anywhere near worth the price. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
I just had one of the most expensive and disappointing “half” salad experiences with Cubby’s today. I paid $12 for the wild rice and kale salad which tasted delicious, but was enough food to fill my left big toe. It only took a few bits to actually eat. The portion sizes for what you pay at Cubby’s are absolutely ridiculous. I don’t have $18 to spend on a “full” salad to actually get enough food to feel satisfied. While the food tastes good, Cubby’s seems more interested in making a good margin than actually taking care of their customers to keep them coming back without completely breaking the bank.
