Super popular and tasty spot in the heart of Delft! I go there often and every time I get something different or new as there is sooo much to try. From cakes to pastry to muffins - everything is delicious! *Insider tip - get here before lunch as shelfs can get empty quickly* The service is always great! Cozy bakery with a huge variety of pastries and breads. I bought a croissant with chocolate frosting and a cinnamon bun, they were simply divine!! The offer in the windowshop is so good that it is difficult to choose which one to take ahahah. The staff was quite friendly and available. A must visit when in Delft, without a doubt!!

Today at about 15:30 in this bakery, I bought a croissant with pink icing on top and custard inside for more than 3 euros. It really tasted magical, but after it I felt bad (I was poisoned). It's a decent place, but it's not worth its price, probably the quality of the products was not very fresh and/or the cream was undercooked. They have the best products you can find in Delft but they are the worst in terms of flexibility. i.e. They don't let you reserve anything without payment which I totally understand, but they also don't have a system which allows for payment on the same day. You can send online payment but they cannot see it at the same day due to their lack of technology! And they are not trying to find a solution for this because it is your problem that you didn't think about ordering earlier. Only think you hear "sorry sorry I cannot do this I cannot do that". Welcome to Netherlands.. In 2024 such a pity to see this.. Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

Very nicely spiced carrot cake with perfect frosting. Delicious sweet bread (round in package, not sure of name), good light wheat bread. Unfortunately, the cashier packed the carrot cake in the bottom of the bag so the frosting was smushed off the cake and onto the bag. A little thoughtfulness would be helpful.

It’s a GEM! True to its name, this bakery in Delft is a gem. I visited the shop last month while on holiday in the Netherlands. The cosy shop was filled with freshly baked bread loaves, pastries and cakes. The staff manning the counter were friendly and one could tell that many of the customers are regulars of the bakery. I bought the cheese sticks, the Dutch cake topped with an amazing helping of hazelnuts, the butter biscuits and the coconut pastry. All were simply delicious. My favourite were the coconut pastry with a hint of passion fruit fragrance and light butter biscuits that for a few euros, they came packed in a pretty blue and white tin- it’s nice as s gift too. Shared some with my colleagues back in Singapore and they all loved it! Will definitely visit Stadsbakkerij De Diamanten Ring again!

They were making tasty cheesecakes. Today we bought again and looks like they changed recipe. There was very little cheese and remaining was bread. Disappointed.

I ordered a birthday cake for 40 persons. The taste and the quality was perfect. There are two issue that I dont like and I have some criticisms/comments; 1) the box was very fit and it was stuck to the cake. Since I wanted to open the box, the pink marzepan cover was removed and damaged. 2) the cake was big and needed a (supportive) tray/bord underneath. I coudn't take it out from the box and forced to put on my decorated table with the box!!:((

Get the roombroodje and the appelflap, plus the ham and cheese croissants. Also don't miss the amazing marzipan creations, like these adorable fries.
