I exclusively experienced the cocktail offerings at this Groningen bar, and it's a vibrant spot with an edgy, youthful atmosphere. The service was notably friendly and helpful. The cocktails, diverse in selection, were consistently good. However, the downside lies in weekend overcrowding, making it challenging to secure a spot and, even if you do, space might be limited. Despite this, I recommend the place and plan to return.

This hidden gem in Groningen is a true treasure. The laid-back atmosphere sets the perfect tone, and the service from the bartender and servers is exceptionally warm and welcoming. Their cocktails are pure artistry, and they've also got a great selection of beer and natural wines. It's my personal haven – a place you absolutely can't afford to pass by! Plus, those neon signs add a seriously cool touch to the ambiance.

Amazing bar with a huge (natural) wine collection. This is a place where you could bring your first date and impress them. Or your sixth date for that matter. Would also recommend for a get-together with friends before hitting the clubs. Congrats to Groningen with this new gem!

Good spot to visit for cocktails if all other spots in the city are packed. Set your expectations very low and then maybe you might end up surprised.

The best place to go for cocktails in Groningen together with Stockroom. They also have natural wines, beers and great snacks. Definitely a must when going out for drinks.

I´ve been to Cilinder before and had drinks at their 'usual' bar before. But since the relaunch, a week ago, they exceeded expectations; their new cocktail bar is minimalistic and stylish, the cocktails are amazing. The barkeepers have years of experience and you can see and hear how much they know and love their craft.
At the main bar, there is a wide range of wines and beers with great beers on tap with relaxing music in the background, perfect for a relaxing evening with friends.
Vegan snacks are available (which I am yet to try), made fresh and an arcade upstairs with different games from the 90s are the perfect pastime.
