I called to place an order and was put on hold for 30 minutes. Decided to place an order online and stayed on the phone. Drove to the location and was still on hold. I was thinking it must be packed for new years and the wait was warranted…but there weee only four tables! I was able to isolate which employee answered the phone and it was a server which makes sense. What incentive do they have for to go orders? Incredibly disorganized with poor management ( should be training for these situations, not everything falls on the employee). Far more better and local restaurants that need support than to spend my money here. Extremely disappointed. As customers we are part of the restaurant ecosystem and we have the power to decide which restaurants have earned their stay in our fine city. This location isn’t one. 0 stars if I could. Always love the ambience of any Chuy's location with the hubcaps and metal trees and such. Service was great! Allie was on point as our server, even though she had several tables to attend to. The green sauce is always a win, as well as the red "sauce" nice and spicy but not overwhelming and super fresh veg. Glad we have one locally. Prices are super affordable for such quality foods. Love the decorations in each of their dinning rooms the food was great and we were able to share our vegetarian enchilada. Not bad; not great. Somewhere in the middle for sure. Food was alright, few mix ups on our order. Apparently we were seated in the midst of an employee meeting, I believe we had 3 different waitresses throughout the course of our meal. We get takeout for this location a lot of times. The food is always excellent. We love the salsas so always order extra to go with our meals. They always provide a giant sack of chips with the extra salsa which is very much appreciated. We do miss eating in and the happy hour nacho cart that they used to have pre-Covid. Hoping that one day will make a return and then we may make a return to dining in. I have been to this location on a few occasions, and I get upset at myself in forgetting to tell them not to smother my burrito in some kind of chipolte looking sauce or salsa that looks like a dark gravy It is too messy to deal with, and I forget that sometimes my stomach doesn't agree with the sauce after having bariactric surgery. I just wanted a lunch burrito I could pick up with my hands and eat at work. When I was asked what kind of sauce I wanted, I did not realize it would be smothered over the burrito. I always assume they would put it on the side. The plate "does" come with rice, but I ordered extra refried beans instead due to diet restrictions. I guess it's safe to say their green creamy jalapeño dip is very good. However, sometimes it is spicier than other days. I would prefer less spicy and more consistency on the mild side. I will update my post as I try to come back and dine in next time. Got the Elvis Presely Memorial dish and the Chuychanga for $13 each. I dont think they're charging enough for the Elvis; you won't get this much food anywhere else for $13! Had a bad day, got home late, and really wanted nachos. Got here about 30 minutes before they closed and still got a table. Ordered the mixed panchos and no one made us feel rushed.
