It was my first time at Chubby Cattle Hotpot, even though it has been here at least 5 years, according to Eddie, our server. We had the tomatoe based broth and the spicy broth. Both were very good, we ordered the medium spiced broth and it was plenty spicy for us. The lamb shank was fantastic. We had veggies and meat with mushrooms they were all very good. The price wasn't bad for two people, but be aware, they automatically add 18% tip no matter how many people are in the group. I was going to leave 20% in cash but noticed the 18% already added. Great food, great service, and a great atmosphere. Sadly, the automatic tip kind of took the shine of a really good place...

It's a place you need to go to try for yourself. Make a reservation.I had the seafood broth with seafood. Mussels shrimp fish all very fresh and delicious. The sauce bar could have been better stocked and cleaned.
Parking lot can be tricky because of the other restaurants and bars.
I did like the background music.

Seafood Combo Platter
This is definitely one of the best hot pot restaurants in Vegas. It has been re-decorated into a more hip vibe place. The menu has been updated to an easier process for ordering. They offer more combination offerings for families and the option to do single serving hot pots or big pots with 2-3 types of soups. Overall, I still like the ingredients and the soups

Solid hot pot place. Waited 25 mins without reservation. The wagyu beef selections were delicious. The tomato oxtail broth is my favorite.
The service was friendly, but they were quick with bringing out some food items and slow with bringing out others. For hot pot, everything should come out together because the cooking goes quick and you want to eat everything all together. She was nice saying she would make some popular sauces for our table, but our food came out way before the sauces and we were hungry so we just ate. But the sauces she made were good.
Speaking of sauces, they need to be more on top of refilling the ingredients... especially the garlic which is a key component for most sauces.
Overall good and would go back and recommend to others.

I've never been a huge fan of hot pot, but this restaurant has totally changed my mind on it! The first thing I noticed when I walked into this restaurant was the modern take on traditional Chinese decoration. Chinese lanterns hang from the ceiling, a giant LED bull covers the wall on one side, Chinese kanji and exposed wooden beams decorate the walls, and everything is red. I found the interior design to be classy and appreciative of the culture.
The second thing I noticed was that every person is provided their own little hot pot so they can select whatever soup and ingredients they want, so there is no chance of cross contamination for those who have food sensitivities/allergies. We were able to make a reservation same day, and we were seated within minutes. We placed a few orders at different times and always received all our food within 5 minutes of ordering. The service was excellent and accommodating.
The food was high quality and delicious. All the Wagyu and lamb was boneless, sliced thin, and cooked within 10 seconds. (Those who are familiar with short rib know that this is the only way to be able to get it tender without slow cooking it.) I appreciated that they offered the option to order a small or larger size of most dishes. We didn't try anything from the conveyor belt as we were concerned with the freshness of those products. The server also made a great recommendation on a cocktail that I was sadly too enthusiastic about drinking to remember to take a photo of. We finished our meals with Melona bars. Because they only had one flavor in stock, the server comped 4 of us dessert, which we greatly appreciated.
Most of our dishes were Wagyu, so our bill came out to an average of $60/person, which we found reasonable. I will definitely return!

This is turning out to be one of my favorite restaurants in Vegas. It is fun and delicious. When you arrive, you can either choose to sit in a booth with personal heating stations for personal pots or a booth with a centralized heating station for family use. We sat in a booth with personalized stations. I ordered the tomato oxtail broth and hubby ordered the entry level spicy broth. Both broths were good by themselves! Then we got lamb shoulder, pork belly, king oyster mushrooms, tong ho, beef dumplings, quail eggs, and homemade shrimp paste. The shrimp paste is cool- you scrape chunks of it in your soup and it makes a whole meat dumpling! I also really like the sauce bar. I typically add most of the choices in one bowl with tons of cilantro and green onions and mix it all together for a nice thick dip. This place also had numbing oil, which is pretty fun to eat (it makes your mouth tingle). I can’t wait to go back here next time I visit Vegas again.

Excellent service despite how busy they were. We got the 2 person special for $99 which I highly recommend if you've never been and don't know what to expect. It came with several dishes including seafood, pork belly, tofu, veggies, two types of wagyu, drinks, and ice cream bars. They also had servers coming around refilling the hot pots with broth as they cooked down. Sauce bar is a fun touch. All very well coordinated with wonderful people running service. It's in a strip mall with ample parking; however, when we left at 730 cars were circling the parking lot (it was a Friday night). Will return next time we're in Vegas. Saw Andrew Zimmern recommend this place.

First timer at Chubby Cattle at Vegas, I have been wanting to try them since Mike Chen mentioned it a while back. The Waygu with raw egg was awesome! I ordered a family combo which was a lot and enough for 4 people , heck maybe 5 ppl even. The broth is on the salty side and I really wish it had more herbal favor. Also, I was disappointed that they serve imitation crab meat on the seafood tray.
The servers here do a good job. They work hard and friendly, but the kitchen is a bit slow. It took a while for the food to come out.
Price? $278 for a 4 ppl combo, so I would say it’s on a pricy end

My favorite hot pot place in town. Personally I like this spot way better than Xpot. They are from the same company so the meat quality is exactly the same. Therefore more cost effective. And they also serve some of the meat dishes with dry ice for presentation if you’d like to take photos.
The family combo is perfect for 4 people. I always go with the tomato soup base. It’s rich and flavorful. Besides the ordering menu they also have a revolving belt for you to grab dishes that you like. It’s fun and convenient.
They recently did renovations so the interior is nicer and more aesthetic. quality & fresh meat and price is competitive. No wait time on a weekday night. Perfect for those craving hotpot in Vegas.

Good quality food. Service was great. We came twice for lunch during our visit.
Most drinks are in a can so no refills. Wish they had Coke Zero instead of Diet Coke.
