Great place in a very nice setting in the middle of Den Bosch. Food is excellent. Bit crowded, but that isn't really a disturbance. Personnel is friendly.

The ambience and the staff were real good. We ordered Satay and the fish platter, they were lip smacking. The only downside was the oysters didn't feel fresh; something felt off. Overall had a good time there. :)

Fish soup was too spicy. Too much red pepper. Should be on menu. Couldn't taste the fish at all.
No side platez for bread and butter. We need to use napkins as plates.
Environment was too warm! Not comfortable at all.

Very cozy place, with great options and amazing portion sizes. The food is amazing. I ordered the truffel burger and it was amazing! The burger was not soggy at all and the flavours were great. Really recommend checking it out.

Visiting this place for the second time for an impromptu dinner in Den Bosch. Very nice ambience and interior, friendly professional service and delicious food. Will certainly visit again when opportunity comes!

Fish Bread
Christoffel is a busy eatery with an unpretentious, but upscale ambience; the hostess did verify that we were there for lunch and not merely a beverage before seating us in their busy dining room, but the food appeared without delay. Although their Q-code didn’t lead us to a translation of the printed menu, the Dutch know how to do sandwiches, and both of those we enjoyed at Christoffel were carefully composed on our choice of fresh breads with lots of fresh ingredients: worth a stop if you’re in the old city at lunch time.

Very friendly staff, good atmosphere and huge portions of food. They serve loads and loads of bread though. We tried the vegetarian bread tray and the Mid-Noon dish, which were tasty but got overwhelmed by the accompanying coleslaw and bread. Coleslaw and a slice of tinned pineapple didn't match the dish and were soaking up the bread as well. Not impressed with the hummus on the bread tray. Would def come back to have another Bossche Bol!
Starter, main meal and dessert were top class. Really enjoyed my meal.
Service was great as well.
Can recommend.
PS: Carpaccio and Entrecote were excellent, as well as the Tiramisu dessert.
