I went in at 9:30pm on a Monday night (1 hr before close). The counter was clean and the food was properly separated and appeared clean. The food was fresh even though the customer flow would be considered light. The staff was very friendly, energetic and patient. The process of ordering and receiving my food was quick. The two short girls with dark hair at the front made the whole experience pleasant. This is possibly the best Chipotle I have been to in KC. Visited this Chipotle while in the area. This was once one of the best locations they had. Always clean, hot and fresh food and a courteous staff. It has gone to "hell in a hand basket 🧺 ". We walked in and the line was almost out of the door. While I will say they moved the line quickly, the overall experience and food was very disappointing. When we approached the counter to place our order the young lady helping us just seemed completely "over it". We tried to be nice as food service can be tough, but she wasn't having it. They scraped the bottom of the pans for various ingredient items and we had to ask if they would replace the items multiple times so that we could truly get what we were paying for. The next young lady on the second part of the serving line was as equally "over it" as the first 🤦🏽‍♀️. She slopped the ingredients in the bowl and put the top on with sour cream and various other things on her gloves on the lid - didn't even try to clean it off. The serving line was messy, they were wiping off gloves instead of changing them. It was a mess. The dining room was messy, trash full and utensils and napkins were sparse. I don't know what happened to this location but it needs some serious attention from their leadership team. Until this happens I won't be returning. Tables were dirty, the guy in front of me was upset about his food, the guac was brown, the rice had ice cold clumps of rice mixed in, the chicken was cold and tasted like it had been sitting for hours, several staff members, yet only saw tables wiped once. The entire place was dirty. Trash was overflowing. It takes a lot for me to write a bad review but that was rough. Staff wasn’t rude or anything, but just seemed checked out. Last week I placed two orders from the app on separate days to be picked up at 2:40pm. Both times I came in around 2:50 to pick up on the way to work, and neither time was my order started yet. They were 10-15min late; as you can see there is only one or two in the store so it’s not like they were busy. Person at the register just said sorry we’re late sometimes. That’s unacceptable. More than enough staff on hand to handle online orders. On top of YOU guys raising pricing what seems like weekly now, portions are terrible and the service is atrocious. I am so bummed about this chipotle, this is the second time I’ve used them. I get a veggie bowl with extra veggies, I could count the peppers and onion in this bowl…. There was 6…… & only one sour cream with three peoples meal (requested one with my husbands bowl too and didn’t get it) & we didn’t get our daughters choice of side or drink with her kids meal. We door dashed this meal. Why is there any extra button if we don’t even receive an adequate amount for it to be considered a veggie bowl??? I drove further to this location because they were great, never messed up my order and good quality food. I spent $65 bucks, got there 7 minutes early for my pick up order and the food was already done and cold, the bag was even soggy! It's like they made it 30 or 40 minutes early and let it just sit there! We couldn't even eat it, and I contacted chipotle and they said sorry, here's a bag of chips! They didn't even get my order right and the lady at the front looked annoyed to have to deal with me. Never again!!!!! The reduced amount of meat is ridiculous. The lady behind us ordered double meat and it didn’t even come close to what the regular portion used to be. There was no soda so they said it was lemonade or water. We said lemonade. Got our cups but the lemonade was empty. There were no forks or napkins and we had to go and ask for some. All of the trash bins were totally full so you just had to pile your trash on top. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

You guys used to be the best location around. Now when ever I get your food there is no flavor meat over cooked and very very sparse with the sour cream. What happened to standards. You guys can charge and continue to raise prices but your standard gets lower. Quality gets lower. As a company this is so shameful that you rip your customers off the way you do. This place was an absolute mess. The whole drink stand had standing water all around it and was presenting a fall hazard. Trash all around looked absolutely disgusting. None of the condiments or silverware or straws were stocked. Maybe should try a different location.
