Good food with something on the menu for everyone. This place gets crowded early on the weekends. So there may be a wait. Once seated the croissants are worth the wait. Everything on the menu is decent. I’d recommend the chicken pot pie. It’s high in calories but worthy of a cheat day. For $65 we got two entrees, two kids meals, drinks and an appetizer. I don’t think you can beat those prices especially with the quality of food. We are fans of Cheddars, so we went here for a quick lunch. We always sit at the bar, and April quickly greeted us and offered to get us drinks. Sherry Ann had the painkiller, and I had a Shiner Bock. She offered us some croissants and took our order. I had the meatloaf, and Sherry had the chicken pot pie. Our food came out fast and it didn't disappoint. This place looked busy for lunch, and I was impressed by how quickly we were served and the attention we got. April was a great bartender answering all our questions and making sure we were well taken care of. This is a great place with reasonable prices and great customer service. That was my first time going to this location, and it's good to know I can count on it. Recently, my wife and I decided to take a trip down memory lane and revisit Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen, a spot we used to frequent during our early dating days before catching a movie. We remembered it being really good back then, so we were excited to see if it still held up. Unfortunately, our nostalgic return didn't quite live up to our fond memories. We ordered the chicken fingers and chicken fried chicken, both of which turned out to be pretty mediocre. The main issue was the lack of flavor. It just didn't have that satisfying taste we remembered. Additionally, the sides were a bit of a letdown, being overly salty for our liking. The service also didn't quite hit the mark. It was okay, but nothing that stood out or made our experience more enjoyable. It was just... average. It's a bit of a bummer when a place you have such great memories of doesn't quite measure up on a return visit. While we're glad we went back to Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen to relive some of those early moments, it seems unlikely we'll be making it a regular spot again anytime soon. Spinach dip has a mild kick to it. It says spicy. It's good, though. The ribeye was delicious. The chocolate cake was fabulous!!! We had a couple of problems, and before you could check your watch, the manager was at our table. I will definitely be back. Great food and service! Staff super friendly and pacient while taking our order. Our plates were well served and enough for my party to keep walking and shopping the rest of the day. The croissants where excellent and the drinks where as well. The staff could have been much more attentive. More drinks would have been ordered but the waiter was hard to find. The food came quick and tasted great. the shrimp and chicken was golden brown and crispy and full of flavor. I've heard good things about how the food is so great here but was highly disappointed. It felt like buffet food really. The best thing i ordered was the salad. The buttered croissants they brought out were pretty good but i wasn't a fan of the sweet butter. My dijon mustard chicken and mushrooms was weird. It seemed like a chicken patty. The broccoli rice casserole came in a bowl that looked like it was put in with an ice cream scoop. The steak and chicken strip combo meal my fiance ordered was underwhelming. The chicken strips were not seasoned at all and the steak was so dense is almost seemed processed. We even ordered an appetizer of chips and queso. It tasted more like rotel. It was so thick. We even tried adding salsa to it and it didn't do anything for it. All and all, not sure we'd go back or maybe we just came on a bad night or ordered the wrong dishes. I see why everyone is raving about the croissants, the honey butter is amazing and the bread is super soft. The side salad is bigger than an average side, Ordered it with balsamic vinaigrette which has an almost gravy consistency but have a really good taste, maybe one of the best dressing I've tasted, not too tart. The kids meals came out very quickly. We put the order in with the drinks and they basically bought it with the drinks. The green beans was delicious, it kinda tasted like cabbage. Broccoli was soft and had a buttery taste. The salmon edges were nice and crispy, center cooked to perfection. Steak was ordered med rare and came out exactly like ordered well seasoned and juicy, you won't need to add anything, it came with a garlic butter. Loved the atmosphere and decor, it gave me Italian vibes with the thick exposed brick and dark wood colors. The waiter Jordan was attentive, refilling glasses before they were half emptied. And consistently checking up, superb service especially with it being so packed. The wait was maybe 10 mins Price was about $100 for family of 5, decent amount

I like the food here and usually don't have any problems with the wait staff. My issue with this particular location is where they always seem to seat us. This is the third time I've been here where the staff seats us next to the loudest and largest tables. One previous time, we actually asked to move because we couldn't even have a conversation without yelling to hear each other. Today, they walked us to a back room that was three times as loud as the rest of the restaurant with two large tables of families with screaming kids. We even requested to the host stand for a big booth, which was ignored. We walked out after about a minute. Why they always seat us in the loudest area, I do not know. Like I said, no problem with the actual wait staff, but the host staff suck and do not honor your requests. I think I'm done with this location. Maybe I'll have better luck in Pasadena.
