The braised lamb was on point. Loved the chips & the garlic sauce. Good concept kind of a Mediterranean Chipotle. Everything is flavorful & fast, clean food. Extremely affordable. Even the chocolate brownie was delicious. & I found all the different beverage options intriguing. Can pay with cash or card. The crew was on it. A “Chipotle” style restaurant but for Mediterranean food and it was pretty good overall. I ordered a three protein meal and the meats were all perfectly seasoned/cooked. The sauces were also great but I think next time, I’ll get a signature bowl rather than pic the ingredients myself. The interior can get pretty full because of the line so eating inside can feel very crowded. I’d definitely come back to this spot again to try their other menu items. Parking was limited. My first time here! Their food is amazing! Their chicken and lamb and sauces are exceptional. I also love their juice (I mix the cucumber mint and the blueberry). I’m definitely coming back! This is great location in downtown Culver City between two park areas. CAVA makes for an easy, healthy lunch in a sunny, laid-back spot. I went here for the first time and Maria was especially helpful when it came to explaining the ingredients and menu. Ordered take out to not have to wait in line during lunch hour and the portions are incredibly small. My bowl was barely even 1/4 full and I finished the bowl starving. I had to go to Shake Shack next door to have a fulfilling lunch. Do not recommend ordering online; maybe ordering in person will have a better portion. Paid over $25 for a grain+salad bowl through UberEats. What I received was actually laughable. The container must have been filled up 1/4th the way through because I could see the bottom of it. I have been to Cava in person and the bowls are about 3 times the size of what I received, it was unbelievable. I'm not sure if this is meant to be like this to save up on non-profitable deliveries or if staff working Monday nights just hate their customers. Will not be ordering again. EDIT: Upon reading other reviews, it seems that this is commonplace with deliveries from this Restaurant. Most UberEats orders are 1/3 the size of what you would get in person. Terrible service. We ordered our food online through the store to be delivered, they sent us an incomplete order and wanted us to drive to the location to pick up the food. We explained that the reason we paid for delivery earlier was because we were unable to drive to the store. After speaking with several people, this place was unable to cover the cost of sending us the food that THEY forgot to send us when we had already paid for the full order. They then told us that WE would have to go online and request a refund. End of story is that they cannot resolve any customer complaints and did not take responsibility for their mistake. Loved the great salad options my sister and I went before the lunch rush our first time, had the balsamic date chicken "delish" comes with pita bread quickest salad I've ever had with all wonderful dense rich food I can never have time to make at home, and all fresh not processed, we can't wait to come back and try all the other combinations, I've been wanting a place like this forever.
