Being vintage movie buffs, we had to stop in at the Caribbean Club while visiting Key Largo. This bar / restaurant is an Iconic stop, as it is one of the locations used in the Bogart and Bacall Film "Key Largo". It offered a very fun, casual and open atmosphere as the bar was opened up to the Gulf side of the island with beautiful views of the Blackwater Sound. Went to the Caribbean Club before Christmas for the boat parade and fireworks display. There was a good view in the large outdoor area out back where there was also a band playing, which was very good. I don't think they serve food, but there was a food truck at the time I was there. You had to go inside of the bar for drinks and the prices seemed reasonable. Unfortunately, many patrons just left their garbage all over as opposed to tossing it out. No reflection on the venue, but it was a giant mess. The bartenders inside were working as hard and fast as they could with the large crowd, but staff and space are both very limited. It's an old, very small place with a crazy amount of people yelling. The bathroom is a single stall and very, very dirty with a super long line.
