The food is good. The service is terrible and slow. I had to walk into the kitchen after 10 minutes of sitting at a table to finally get service and order my food. The atmosphere makes you feel unwanted there. Let's do better my people. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $30–50 Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

We happened to see this place on our way to a different restaurant and decided to stop. Best decision ever! We loved what we had, mofongo was better than all other Dominican places in the area and the picadura was on point. Oh and they had morisoñando 😍❤️ we will be back!

The food is very good. The only thing is that if you go to have a quiet meal you better go somewhere else because the music is so loud you will leave with a headache.
This place is small. Only 4 tables and counter with bar seating. Our order included empanadas (white cheese there's a difference), maduros, sopa de mondongo (tripe) served with white rice, chuletas ordered with choice white rice and beans, lastly Pollo guisado served with choice of Moro. For drink jugos frescos chinola (passion fruit) & Tamarindo. If there's something on the menu you really want i.e. sancocho CALL AHEAD to check availability. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $30–50

The food was really good. My dad recommended this place for lunchtime. The portions were good, the food was tasty, and staff was friendly. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Very delicious Caribbean's Dominican food. They have a few dishes already made and you have The Choice to order what you want from the menu if a special dish comes in mind. Very friendly and family services. Made me feel back come! I had Mondongo con Tostones.

The sancocho was good but meat was almost non-existant but still good. I took a cheese empanada to go & this is what I bit into.... I ended up stuffing it with a string cheese & popping it in the toaster oven 🤣 I will still try this place again to see what else they have to offer. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20

ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! Im not gonna lie, i cried lol it took me back to my New York childhood and the nostalgia got to me :) Im absolutely going to come back. The service was fast and friendly as well. Had the: Drink: Morir soñando Soup: Sancocho Rice, habichuelas, and the chicharron de pollo Service Dine in Meal type Brunch Price per person $10–20
One of several good spots on the previously desolate culinary wasteland that was Rt.1 in Hyattsville. This unassuming little restaurant delivers more in both taste and service than first impressions would suggest. A large menu of central American dishes, with several Dominican specialties. The Mofongo was excellent, and the succulent Sancocho stew (with chicken & beef) was flavorful and extremely filling. Reasonable prices too. And the service was warm and friendly. (Helps if you can speak a little Spanish.) Don't drive by! Stop and taste! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20
