We absolutely loved our visit to Camino Bakery in Winston-Salem on a Saturday morning. There was a line when we arrived, but the line moved quickly so it was good. We got the lattes, and for food we got the almond horn, heirloom tomato danish and orange pistachio danish. The lattes were perfect to start our morning, and the food was scrumptious as well. There’s a neat piece of history to this place; reading about that was cool too. We were in and out in around 30 mins. Parking nearby is street parking. The staff was exceptional and polite through and through. I highly recommend this bakery if you’re in the area.

Always amazing, and their gluten free offerings and autumn drinks are excellent. I love their snickerdoodle cookie, almond horns and *especially* the flavorful Camino torta de Santiago. Many coffee shops have come and go in Winston Salem in the past decade but there is only one Camino!

Stopped here late morning in between other appointments in Winston-Salem. Nice spot for different baked items, including breads, of which I partook in a croissant with my beverage of choice. I also got a chai scone to go, which I still have to try with tea this afternoon. While there are a couple of other spots in town that I want to try, Camino will remain on the list for a second visit. When Mrs. says she wants a coffee break, I find a coffee break. After parking on the street, Camino was super easy. We looked over the pastries while waiting, landing on the mousse for my wife and an almond horn for me. Our latte did not take long at all and we were set. Great sweet stop, excellent coffee break, five stars for Camino.

I was in the area with some friends. I definitely was in need of some coffee, and this place was recommended by the locals. I definitely lived the vibe here. We got some good coffee. I wish we had a place like this in Ohio where I can work or hang with some friends. There was wonderful artwork on the walls. Some were for sale.
I ordered a 16oz oatmeal cookie latte. It felt like was drinking a cookie. I loved it. I would recommend anyone order it. That staff was polite and professional. I would go again for another. Service Dine in Meal type Other Price per person $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Stopped here for my sister to try it out. She was displeased with the customer service which definitely did nothing for her opinion of the food. She only wanted a chocolate chip cookie and there was one left in the display pan and a fresh batch off to the side. She requested the fresh batch because the display cookie looked hard and there was nothing covering the cookie. The associate replied with you could just microwave the cookie at home to soften it. Very unprofessional … my sister purchased a cookie to support establishment that is LGBT friendly but would not have purchased anything based on the associates attitude alone. Tarta de Santiago - terrible dry cake, can’t believe it has such a strong artificial taste considering this is “bakery” Sandwiches are given cold and heated by your own in a microwave!!! Seriously? It’s ridiculous in a bakery, I’ve been to thousands of coffee shops and none of them had such a terrible service. Iced mocha - didn’t have any taste of coffee, being more generous and adding some more good coffee wouldn’t hurt. Last but but least important, we paid for 2 sandwiches and the guy forgot to give it to us and kept us waiting for almost half an hour… of course we didn’t know we had to heat it up in a microwave… If you read until here, thanks and please do yourself a favor and find another “Camino”
