We stopped here coincidentally, and I totally recommend it. The location is super lovely, sitting by the canal was very lovely. I must say that I found the portions a bit scarce for the price they have, but I am giving a 5 star review anyway because: 1) the food was delicious and very high quality, 2) service was excellent, and 3) the location, the decoration and the environment were just lovely. Been there a couple of times now for a bottle of wine and a snack and I can’t recommend it more! The Panisse and pâté were really nice but I think what really makes it special is the location. Sitting at the canal on a sunny day with good wine really makes this place stand out. The staff is also super nice and very attentive. I recommend passing by! One of the nicest and best restaurants in The Hague. We sat outside on their lovely terrace. The staff is very friendly and the food amazing. I loved their drink menu . All organic wines and homemade fresh drinks. The menu is not too big and the y change the menu sometimes. That’s why the quality is fresh. Everything we ordered was so tasty. It was amazing. Very charming and cosy restaurant by the canal in The Hague. Fine selection of meals options and beverages. I've tried the Água de Jamaica and Goat cheese bruschetta. We’ve had dinner with 4 girls in this restaurant. There is not a lot of choice, but the food is good. Although the price vs quality is not in balance. The biggest disappointment of this evening was the service and the quality of the wines. After a bad choice of white wine, we asked one of the waitresses for a suggestion based on a 40eu bottle. She suggested a few wines really quickly with a strong Spanish accent and ‘forgot’ to mention that she suggested us the most expensive bottle on the list. Twice the price of the bottle we initially discussed. The name of this wine is not on the bottle, so we didn’t knew what was served. All four of us are sure that she pointed out another bottle on the wine list. We believe that she should have said something about serving such an expensive bottle. We understand that it is a bit late to discuss this after the bill is presented, but the waitress did not listen to our feedback at all. Had some brunch here. Good music, good service and good food. Staff friendly and helpful. Lovely location too - great views along the canal from the outside seating area and lots of seating inside, both downstairs and upstairs. Toilets well maintained and clean. Perfect! Will be coming back.
