Very friendly staff (one nice guy was worried about me getting wet when it rained). Had an enjoyable couple of unhurried beers sitting at the bar watching American sports like I was in the US, but with a European flair, and boy what a big interesting venue it is to explore :) Price per person €10–20 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

A charming little place with great food. A little on the pricey side but suppose it's to be expected. The decor is very classy, which gives it a special feel while dining. The food can sometimes takes a long time to come but when it does, it's worth the wait. This place makes Groningen experience even better.

Very friendly staff, sometimes have to wait long but this is normal in Europe. Nice outside facilities and view. Good for short rest in city centre. Good to try mustard soup and local bitterballen, shrimps were also tasty. However the burger was not the best.

Excellent food and very nice service. While sitting outside is really nice, even in mild weather, the interior is decorated beautifully and is worth a trip to the restroom just to see it! The tuna salad sandwich is large and very lekker.

The closing time on Google Maps isn't accurate as they close much later, it appears to depend on the night when it dies down. Lovely quiet setting, very cozy. Simple food, but tasty, and the kitchen is open until 11pm. After that, there are some nice snacks from the rear of the menu. Nice selection of beers.

The balance of price vs the quality&quantity of drinks is pleasant. The food portions are so big, that one order of nachos will serve 3 people, while prices being reasonable. The only downside is that sometimes it takes time and effort to catch the attention of waiters. Tip: if it is bad weather but the terrace is still open, if you don't see a waiter standing outside, go tell them inside that you are sitting on the terrace. They usually do not check if there is no server already outside.

Always fine and nice, its lika a maze inside, and it'd pretty big. But it's really popular and there ain't much seats free. The people here are really nice and helpful to, doesn't take to long to order and get things

So this is the most famous and biggest pub/bar in Groningen and allegedly the northern Europe (Don't know for sure). Due to this the service is in my opinion is very standard and not fitted to the clients. Inside (they have many different rooms, be sure to check them all out to see which one you like best) it can be also very classy. Outside it looks just overcrowded and narrowed down to place as many clients as possible. Prices are good maybe a little over the standards. I WOULD PERSONALLY go somewhere else if you're looking for that quiet cool place to talk with your date/friends.

Nice outdoor area for a beer and some appetizers during the summer. The costumer service is really great and the atmosphere is very friendly. Food is Dutch and delicious. Don't miss the eierballen!
