I just happened to be driving by when I saw the grand opening sign and baloons. I parked and got off my car to investigate. I was immediately welcomed with a friendly reception by the manager Tammy. I asked if they served coffee and was told they do and was seated immediately. I was brought a menu and I ordered a Ca Phê Muối (Salted Coffee). The coffee was made quickly and it tasted excellent! The salty taste was just right and did not distract from the strong coffee. I mixed it up and it tasted perfect.
The servers Lan and Nu were very polite and knowledgeable about the menu and answered my many questions. I was told by them and the manager that after 2pm. There is another menu with more options including Ốc and street food.
I intended to only order the coffee but as I sat there, I decided to order the Cá Mòi. What a great choice. The chef made this dish to perfection. The Sardines in tomato sauce with onions were seasoned incredibly well and I wiped the bowl clean. The bánh mì that came with it was delicious. Very crispy on the outside but amazingly soft inside. The butter and patê were out of this world and completely accented the meal.
I would return just for the Cá Mòi and bánh mì. I found my new comfort food.
The ambiance of the restaurant is modern and casual. It was very clean. The music that was being played was very catchy and gave the atmosphere an excellent vibe. Come check this place out asap!
