Januari 2024, Little bit hidden in the back of the Noordkade. Next to the water. This nice (and huge) cafe is situated. Where you still get a nice cookie with your coffee. Industrial meets postmodern. Definitely a cozy place with warm lighting. No live music when we went, but it was early. The staff is attentive, and friendly. We had the toasted ham and cheese and it was delicious. I like that they have a games counter. They definitely want you to come in and hang out for a while, and I felt invited to do so.

Worst coffee in a very, very long time. Asked for a flat white, and got something that looked and tasted as "machine" cappuccino (in its worst meaning). Foam was full of big bubbles, floating on top of the coffee, resembling bath foam. And the coffee... Undrinkable! And either the staff knows it's bad, and/or don't care, since when paying (at the table) the coffee was still there, almost untouched, and the waiter didn't bother asking why. Nice location, but try some of the other places there.

Nice place in former industrial setting. Veghel is trying to accomodate the creative class in their canal district. Veghel is one of the economic powerhouse municipalities in south of Netherlands!
