What a fun, cozy bar! Like an old living room. Great draft beer selection at the time, which was Oktoberfest themed. Young, friendly folk working the bar. A young crowd overall but a great mix of people enjoying a lovely Sunday evening In Amsterdam. Price per person €10–20 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Cafe Brecht is short walk from Vijzelgracht metro and offers beautiful cozy atmosphere. The glue wine I tried was nice, however I became bigger fan of the whole vibe and setting of the place. They also have some games albeit all in Dutch. Lovely experience and my go to place for a good catch-up with friends and some nice drinks. Staff was quite overwhelmed by sheer number of people however the service was good.

Cute little German themed bar with a good beer selection. The staff are nice and recommend me a nice beer. Seating space is limited but welcome to Amsterdam. Overall I’d definitely come here again with 1 or 2 friends and I’d recommend it to any beer enthusiasts.
