My visit to Bricoleur Vineyards in California was a wine lover's paradise. I explored this gem with some friends and was captivated by the stunning wine and food pairings. The picturesque landscape and welcoming staff made it a truly exceptional experience. The family that runs the vineyard added a personal touch that made us feel right at home. Came for Winter Christmas Market and Ornament making. Lovely extended tent from barn to have more seating, sparkling wine in hand to walk around and visit vendors and some food to order to relax, sip and chat with your friends/fam. A lovely holiday fete to take in for a few hours in Dec.
This place is beyond!!!! A true treasure! We went for the ‘Rooted’ lunch wine pairing and highly recommend this amazing experience. We arrived about 30 minutes early and explored their glorious grounds - one gorgeous photo spot after another! Then we were greeted with a glass of champagne by Candice and escorted into their beautifully restored barn, where we were seated at a gorgeously set table that looked into an open concept kitchen where we got to see and interact with Chef Thomas and his talented team. We were treated like royalty by our knowledgeable and personable host Hope, but every single employee came by to greet us during the course of our lunch, including the owner Mark. They were all warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable. The food was incredible and complimented their wonderful wine. They even poured some bonus wine selections for us and made some extra little treats that were not on the beautifully personalized anniversary menu they created for us! This was the most special experience. If you’re looking for a truly individualized decadent wine pairing experience, look no further! After lunch we played some table shuffle board and corn hole and enjoyed the beautiful grounds some more, which includes a rose garden, an area with chickens, and even a small lake with elegant black swans swimming around, until we were ready to drive home! Thank you for this incredibly special anniversary celebration!
Brought a girlfriend (first time for both of us) to do the ROOTED experience. We were wowed from the moment we walked in the door. Wines were lovely, food pairing left us wanting more, and the inside of the room was so pleasant.
Multiple staff introduced themselves, even though they weren't directly hosting (how nice!). Everyone was smiling, customers included, and overall vibe was perfect for a Sunday rainy day.
Riley (sp) was our host, she was very well versed in the wines, and food, and we even got to meet the Chef! What a nice way to round out service & show customer care. Kudos to the entire team for making our experience, thank you Bricoleur!
A beautiful winery in a beautiful setting makes Bricoleur a must visit. Chefs in the kitchen elevate the food pairings and showcase the great wines. Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are there features, but the Alexander Valley Zinfandel is top flight. A renovated horse barn is the setting for the tasting, but don't miss the magical views from the different outside settings. Child and dog friendly.
We had a fabulous return experience as wine club members. We did the Soaring tasting and food pairing, which was fantastic as always, and our hostess Taryn made the whole experience even more enjoyable! She was extremely knowledgeable about the wines and how they pair with each dish and had such a keen passion for everything that was much appreciated and enjoyed by us. Highly recommend and request Taryn if you can!
By far my favorite winery!! Their wine selections are the best. The tasting room is beautiful, elegant, and homey. We enjoyed the root tasting and Chefs Todd and Thomas, along with their well trained staff, served up one of the best meals we have ever eaten...of course paired perfectly with Bricoleur wines. Our hospitality ambassador, Reilly, was friendly, attentive and well versed on the wine descriptions. The owner, Mark Hanson, came and visited with us and we felt like we were part of the Bricoleur family!! I highly recommend this winery to all who enjoy great wines and food.
Great experience. Food and wine pairing was amazing! Shout out to the chefs and those who came up with the pairing. Food was served estate to table, super fresh and refreshing, perfect for summer. Starting with light refreshing summer rose and white, advancing to red paired with red meat, and the lovely servers provided the best garnish to the experience!! We ended with a truffle + wine shot dessert and a berry popsicle in delicious wine. Can’t ask for more! Hopefully Terra and Orion don’t mind me posting their lovely faces here :) xx
If you haven’t visited Bricoleur Vineyards, make it your top priority to get there. The wine is some of the best I’ve ever had. The winery is absolutely gorgeous and the people are the nicest, most helpful team of employees ever. They have the cutest picnic option with a pull wagon filled with food their chef prepared and you pull your wagon to any spot to enjoy. Treat yourself to the chef’s dinner. It will be the coolest experience you’ve ever had. You and their chef in the kitchen for a full dinner catered to you with wine pairings. I cannot say enough about this magical place.
