My cousin took me here for lunch, saying what a great place it was. It was. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, very festive for the holidays, and the food was just fabulous. The hamburger was juicy, the bun was fresh, and the onion rings were some of the better ones I've ever had. They should ask Uncle Jack for some new coffee mugs though, mine looked a bit sad. :) I'll be back for sure, lots of choices on their menu that I want to try. Good food, good service, good people. My first time there and I've only heard good things. Glad it held up to the high expectations. The Nachos were also awesome, and I have a high bar for nachos. I'll be back there again. Service Dine in Meal type Other Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Irish Nachos
My husband has been wanting to try this place for a while. Today was the day. They open at 3:00 on Tuesdays. We walked around the surrounding blocks a bit, then headed over right at open. We were the first ones in, so no real sense of the general atmosphere when other patrons are around. Nice clean place. Service was good. Food was good. Seems like a nice place to frequent. If we lived in the area, we'd probably go here regularly. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Recommended dishes Hamburger

We have been here a few times for trivia on Thursday night and it is always a lot of fun. We had six people in our group and Molly did a great job taking care of us. I had the Brisco melt and it was awesome. Seasoned steak burger with Swiss and American cheese with the house made Frisco sauce on toasted sourdough. My wife had the Caprese Grilled Cheese and she said it needed more cheese. One of our friends got the hot dog with chili and cheese and she said it was really good. They have a pretty good selection of beers and craft beers. This place deserves a try when you are in Lee's Summit. Another fun restaurant thriving in old downtown Lee's Summit! Doing everything right on an extremely busy day, small business Saturday. Easy to find in the middle of all the action. The food was great as well as the atmosphere. Given the packed house I was surprised that I was able to have a conversation with the princess but remarkably were able to. Although it was obvious that they were short help everyone piched in to make sure we had a good experience. Our waitress Kelsie was exceptional, helpful and friendly even under pressure. We thank you for a pleasant experience and the recommendation of desert. We will most surely be back.
I dined at Brick's for the first time with my mother for a sporadic late lunch. I thought the interior had a nice classic pub feel with unique artwork and signage around. We got there before the dinner rush so quite a few tables were open. I was surprised no one really greeted us when we came in or told us where to sit so we just grabbed a booth. It took quite a while before a server said she would be right with us. It took another 10 minutes or so before an off the clock server brought us waters, to my dismay with a straw in it when I had asked not to have a straw. We were finally brought menus and decided what to eat. The initial server who greeted us came back to the table to take our drink orders. She passed our table when bringing my mom's drink. Before we could order food she left and said she'd be back. I felt a bit bad for her because it seemed like she was the only one running the floor, carrying away dirty dishes, taking orders, even helping with drinks behind the bar. Still though, it took quite a while longer before I could order a drink and we were able to order food. The food came out quickly and honestly was better than I thought it would be. My mom and I shared the veggie sandwich on a lightly toasted rye bread with a side of sweet potato fries. I thought it had a good balance of flavors and was prepared well. When we were ready to go we had to flag our server down to ask for the check. She accidentally passed our table again when bringing the check. It really seemed like we had just been forgotten throughout the whole meal. We noticed the table in front of us had sat down after us, ordered drinks and food, dined, paid, and left before we even got our check. It just seemed like from start to finish we weren't a priority and that was very frustrating. Despite the food tasting good and enjoying our drinks when we finally got them, I wasn't impressed overall. For future, just a little more attentiveness would have given me reason to give it another try but will likely not go back to Brick's again. *Update- in response to comment below. Thank you for responding to this experience. We dined on Saturday February 15th, around 3:30/3:45 is when we got there. I hope that helps.
